Not quite an imperial, but certainly not a standard India pale ale. Our double IPA is a hop lovers dream. Citrusy and clean with an incredible finish.

A real gem of an ipa, though I can see why some folks find this disappointing if they are expecting a dipa. This is really more comparable to a heavier, maltier ipa such as Two Hearted than to, say, 90 minute. In other words, it may be light for the dipa style, but its keeping good company. The aroma is wonderfully full of sweet citrus and morning air, with the sweet malty body and bitter finish brought into the sharpest relief that few ipas achieve. Really a nice beer, especially at the price ($10 for a six pack).

There was a hop aroma in this beer, but very light. The flavor was very light of hops and hints of resin with a raisin aftertaste. I find it hard to call this an imperial IPA, it is just barely an IPA. The texture was a bit watery. A touch of bitterness with a sweet aftertaste. Appearance was of a clear pale yellow. This beer is too light for me. It wasnt really bad, just really weak. Id call it an IPA for people who dont like IPAs. Id drink it if it was there, but im not going to go out of my way to get one, ill never buy this beer again. Did I get a weak batch????

Delicious almost-Imperial IPA. Great Cascade aroma up front, with a well balanced toasty malt on the palate, and a crisp finish, albeit with a slight taste of alcohol. This beer is 8%, and you can taste every bit of it.

On tap at GLBF, poured hazy orange with white head. Aroma of big pine and resinous hops, with a touch of biscuit and caramel. Taste up front is mainly piney, resinous, spicy, and even a touch of citrus hops leading into a bit of caramel sweet to balance and a nice big bitter finish. Great brew, hoppy, bitter, crisp.

Wow this beer really got me in the good taste buds. It wasnt as thick as an imperial nor as hoppy but it was truly flavorful and great on the palate. Excellent beer.

355ml bottle from a kw group private order. pours clear golden with moderate carbonation and a small white head. earthy hop aroma. the flavour is balanced with earthy hops and base malt structure. dryer then most big ST brews. not a bad beer overall but pretty dissapointing from this brewer. id take their regular ipa over this everytime.

Bottle. Pours a clear pale gold color with a smallish off-white head. The pungent aroma features plenty of grapefruits, orange rinds, and resiny pine needles. Hints of rye bread become apparent as things warm up a bit. Goes down thin to medium-bodied. A semi-sweet start taste-wise with a touch of caramel and some biscuity qualities. Grapefruits and bitter citrus rinds follow. A touch dry at the end. Decent, but not very memorable. Doesnt really seem like an I2PA at all. I expect more from Southern Tier.

Very nice pine and citrus aroma from a light amber pour with a foamy head. The flavor is similar with the pine and citrus dominate. Not much malt in here. Finish is dry and refreshing.

12 oz. bottle. Pours a mostly clear gold with a moderate fairly creamy white head that lasted until the very end and left a coating of white foam on the side of the glass with each sip. Pleasant aroma of pine with a lesser amount of grapefruit and malt. The flavor is a well balanced combination of malt with some nice biscuit, pine, and a just a bit of grapefruit. The pine is not resinous, but it is not thin either. Appropriate bitterness at the finish is not overdone. Medium-full bodied. This is a very nice IIPA.

Awesome awesome brew. So crisp and delicious, perfect hop emphasis, dangerously sessionable. Straightforward, wonderfully executed IIPA. I got ripped drinking the first 5 out of the 6 pack last night and woke up with the 6th this morning and it was equally delectable.
