Not quite an imperial, but certainly not a standard India pale ale. Our double IPA is a hop lovers dream. Citrusy and clean with an incredible finish.

From bottle. Pours with very little head, hazy honey colour. Not much aroma, but a little bit of citrus. Taste is strong citrus hops and a little bit of pine. A touch of malty bitter finish.

Amazing beer. Bells Hopslam Ale is my favorite beer but this comes so close to taking the #1 spot. Really tastes similar and packs 8.2% ABV. I found this in Wisconsin so I am guessing you can get it a lot of places around the US. Try it!

Draft at Mellow Mushroom. Aroma is very hoppy. Notes of citrus, grass, and tropical fruit stand out. Palate is crisp and refreshing. Flavor is bitter, finishing a little dry.

Pours a clear dark yellow body with a thin white head. Spicy hops move into citrus and a very dry finish. Becomes sweeter (in a good way) as it warms.

12oz bottle, pours golden yellow in color, good thick 1 inch foam head, decent lacing throughout the drink. Aroma wasnt too heavy for hop smell, but hops in odor was detectable. Well-balanced beer, not as hoppy as description tells it, but not bad (I wish it was more on the hoppy side). Medium bodied, citrus fruit flavors coming through with a hint of the imperial taste. Overall well done, you can taste the 8.2% abv on the finish. Worth the try.

Pours golden and cloudy. Thin white head dissipates quickly. Aroma has sweet grapefruit and floral notes. Sweet tasting and not as hoppy as I would have expected from the aroma, but still satisfying. Bitter, slightly malty finish punctuated by final burst of alcohol.

Shared bottle at Cardinal, Stavanger. Pours clear golden with a small white head. Aroma is malty, light hops. Taste is good malty, light hopped to be a double IPA.

355ml bottle, slight cloudy golden hue, with a white head, sweet honeyish, candyish lemon, grapefruit peel nose with some nice fruity, citrusy leafy, grassy floral hop accents, with a light resinous, pine note in the aroma follows through on a medium-bodied palate with a good sweet juicy candied lemon, grapefruit peel, leafy, grassy flowery hop character, with a faint honeyed toasted, pale, caramel malt undertone, and with subtle spicy lemnograss note, leading towards a candyish, fruity, citrusy, zesty grapefruit, leafy, grassy lemony hop dry bitterness finish.

Bottle. Nice dusky orange color with a nice white head. Hoppy aroma. Its sharp hoppy taste has a bit of citrus, with a nice finish

Well made - deep golden yellow brew. Nicely balanced. Heavy body but not overly sweet. Some pine-spruce. Not super memorable, but very decent overall.
