Bottle. Orange pour, white head. Aroma of sweet caramel malt, a bit of spice, earthy hops. Flavors of sweet caramel, a bit of booze, fruits, and dull earthy hops. Medium/thick body, sweet, a bit medicinal and a bit hot... bit of a mish-mash. Overall, not sure if this is old or just really unbalanced. Picked up a 12 oz bottle at TC Craft. This was a great mixture of citrus tones, maltiness, and hop presence for my taste. The texture was also creamy and smooth. Looking forward to taking down a 6 pack. Brandman (2954) - Helsinki, FINLAND - APR 1, 2011
Golden hazy body, white head. Aroma of resiny hops, citrus, lots of malt. Falvour has muesli, cereal, bread. Balanced. Hop flavour profile little uncertain, but good. lhoskins (2) - Maryland, USA - MAR 30, 2011 does not count
Surprisingly smooth for a DIPA being 8.2%. The taste of hoppy taste is almost outweighed by the "more than a hint" of grapefruit. Leaves your mouth clean with a great aftertaste. Worth a try any day of the week. XmnwildX12 (2079) - Farmington, Minnesota, USA - MAR 28, 2011
A nice golden amber color, with a strong hop scent. Nice hop flavor with a hint of pine, smooth finish.

Attractive gold colored body was clear, and the pour formed a one finder thick head in the pint glass. The smell was pine, hay, and rain soaked earth, and had a caramelized edginess when inhaled deeply. The taste was citric (grapefruit and tangerine) with a sugary sweetness. More of hop showcase, than an assault, the flavor turned peppery at the end of the sip, and stayed that way in the aftertaste. The beer felt sticky and coating in the mouth, and the alcohol warmth was not intrusive. A balanced, yet flavorful DIPA to keep in mind when the craving hits. jonno (2808) - JAPAN - MAR 27, 2011
Drinks very smooth for 8 plus percent. Initial whiffs of skunk hops give way to a delicate toffee malt body. Doesn’t quite deliver on the promise, but a good coating of hop resin - mostly citrus and a little earth have a longish lasting effect on the back of the tongue. Doesn’t leave a huge impact, but is very straight forward drinkable. MattShizzle (614) - Bernville, Pennsylvania, USA - MAR 26, 2011
UPDATED: SEP 19, 2012 Bottle. Light golden color - very clear. Aroma is very hoppy. Really good - nice and hoppy still with some malt flavor. after4ever (8025) - Mukilteo, Washington, USA - MAR 24, 2011
Draft at ncbc. Pours a crystal clear brilliant gd with a loose white head. Rich grapefruit and peach nose. Creamy medium body with lively carb. Resteained toast and caramel notes on the mid palate along with bold grapefruit and peach. A big, bold, explosively flavored dipa thats right in every way. Very well done if somewhat unexceptional. Pours a cloudy light orange with a huge whiff of aromatic hops in the nose. Thin head. Bitter, biting citrus hops. Mouthfeel is thin due to a lack of a huge malt backbone. This is hoppy and very clean tasting. Alcohol is well hidden. Overall a great beer. Would certainly buy again.
