COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Not quite an imperial, but certainly not a standard India pale ale. Our double IPA is a hop lovers dream. Citrusy and clean with an incredible finish.

Drinks very smooth for 8 plus percent. Initial whiffs of skunk hops give way to a delicate toffee malt body. Doesnt quite deliver on the promise, but a good coating of hop resin - mostly citrus and a little earth have a longish lasting effect on the back of the tongue. Doesnt leave a huge impact, but is very straight forward drinkable.

Draft at ncbc. Pours a crystal clear brilliant gd with a loose white head. Rich grapefruit and peach nose. Creamy medium body with lively carb. Resteained toast and caramel notes on the mid palate along with bold grapefruit and peach. A big, bold, explosively flavored dipa thats right in every way. Very well done if somewhat unexceptional.

Pours a cloudy light orange with a huge whiff of aromatic hops in the nose. Thin head. Bitter, biting citrus hops. Mouthfeel is thin due to a lack of a huge malt backbone. This is hoppy and very clean tasting. Alcohol is well hidden. Overall a great beer. Would certainly buy again.

Bottle; Pour is clear light golden with a modest white head. Retention is on the average side, while the lacing appears a bit spotty in this snifter - The aroma may be a little nicer than the flavor profile, honestly. Caramel and melons on the nose. So no. Not quite a double, I guess. I suppose it makes it a bit more drinkable , though? Melons, Tangerines, caramel - not bad.

12oz bottle. Pours a crystal clear, golden, orange tinted body with a finger-width, frothy, off-white head that dissipates slowly and leaves a nice lacing. Aroma is nice and very fresh. Big on the tropical fruits. Lots of mango, melon, peach, papaya, and a lighter pineapple-orange. A good amount of grainy, pale malts with a moderate caramel sweetness. Hops are mostly grass with a light mix of pine and floral. Flavor is similar, but a bit sweet. A distinct, sweet pale malt and caramel up front while staying fairly grainy. Lots of piney grapefruits and tangerines along with a good amount of tropical fruits. Finishes dry with a moderate bitterness that is grassy and piney as well as citrusy and tropical. Also fairly sweet and grainy with a light resin. Lengthy aftertaste following a slightly fuller than medium, smooth body and moderate carbonation. Overall, a flavorful DIPA/IPA. Fairly sweet and grainy all-around, but there is a nice tropical/citrusy fruit to this along with a pleasant mix of pine and grass. I like the balance on the aroma a bit better, but this was pretty good.

Southern Tier does it again. Amazingly fresh grassy aroma. Appears light and fruity but once you take a sip it coats your mouth like a huge beer, with a sweet fresh hoppy grassy citrus explosion, love.

Pours a light amber with a moderate head. Light aroma of hops, honey and grass. Taste is a little under medium bodied, with a smooth palate and nice layers of grassy hops. Was hoping for a bit more, has a fair amount of hops, but not that much more.
