3.6 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
12 oz bottle at home. Orange-amber color, though more the former than the latter. Fine white bubbles. Aroma is earthy floral hops, light malts; flavor profile is similar, though definitely more citrusy. Palate is clean and refreshing for the ABV, which is well hidden. Better on the first sip than as it goes on. Somewhere in there this beer’s great grandaddy is an American macro, which isn’t something I often detect in double IPAs, but there’s a trace of MGD in there. I think ultimately that ups the refreshment factor . . ,. did I really just say that?
Overall I like it. Easy to drink and easier on the wallet than Hopslam.

I use the Beer Buddy app to discover, catalog and rate beers.
I used to love this app BEFORE the latest update that forces you to login and even more annoying is you are now forced to write a MINIMUM 75 CHARACTER COMMENT in order to save and upload a beer rating. In most cases I simply don't have 75 characters of comments, thus this canned response. My apologies to all beer lovers.

I hate that I am forced to write a comment, when all I want to do is rate the beer for my own reference. What happened to not having to integrate with ratebeer.com?

One of the best IPAs I’ve had. Well balanced with a complex hop profile. A solidly built beer. jline50 (1) - - JUN 12, 2017 does not count
Very hoppy with a smooth crisp finish. I would recommend this beer to any hop lover who enjoys a bold IPA.

New for me. Excellent IPA in every way. Mine was canned and still tasted nice. By the third one felt no pain. It is hoppy so you need to like that taste. Smooth from start to finish. Compares to Yard’s but is a tad nicer . I will try their other beers soon RONCOD (247) - Uledi, Pennsylvania, USA - MAY 4, 2017
Pours a clear yellow with a medium white head. Citrus aroma and very hoppy. This was just what I needed today. Rex_Remes (239) - Bonyhad, HUNGARY - APR 28, 2017
(12oz bottle) AROMA: roasted corn, smoke, caramel, warm/dark hops. APPEARANCE: medium yellow, hint of brown/Amber, good head, nice visible carbonation. TASTE: toasted malt, coffee/chocolate, bran, some herbiness and roasted veggies.. PALATE: solid medium body, soft/creamy touch to go with heartiness, nice balance between front and back, malt and hops. OVERALL: solid imperial IPA, balance leans towards roasty malts as opposed to in your face hops, more of a robust ale than an India pale ale, alcohol is noticeable but not overwhelming, I like the warmth and heartiness. Would make a good winter ale. Pintofjoe29 (61) - Dingman Ferry, Pennsylvania, USA - APR 21, 2017
UPDATED: APR 21, 2017 Good looking beer, a caramel orange with a nice white head. Good lacing on the glass. Good hoppy aroma. Tastes great! Bright hoppy flavor with mango and grapefruit. Nice malty sweetness as well. Exceeded my expectations Renobob (2064) - Besançon, FRANCE - MAR 26, 2017
Bue en bouteille. Blonde dorée. Grosse mousse blanche légère. Nez agrumes typique. Palais corpulent, equilibré, complexe, très agréable. Résineuse, citronnée. Finale longue et amère. Cool one !
