Pours a copper color with light khaki head (1 finger). Nice aromas of spices (cinnamon, nutmeg), fig, malt. Nice balanced flavors - spices, fig, malt, and a touch of alcohol. Very nice for the season. jflopsu (1590) - New Jersey, USA - DEC 3, 2014
Pours a clear dark amber. Has a sweet spice aroma of cinnamon, nutmeg and some peppermint. Has a strong spice flavor of cinnamon and nutmeg with malts and some caramel. Has a lingering bitter malt and spices tastes like Christmas! ElGaucho (2401) - Minnetonka, Minnesota, USA - DEC 1, 2014
Bottle. Lots of spice in the nose with heavy notes of clove. I haven’t had a lot of glogg, which is usually served warm, so I don’t have an expert opinion on how close this brew is to glogg. However, knowing how well Southern Tier nails their beers and how unique this brew is, I’m fairly certain it’s a close match. Really tasty once it warms. bkurtz (1078) - MOROCCO - DEC 1, 2014
Bottle - Pours a clear, deep copper/red with a quickly dissipating head. Aromas of ginger, Cinnamon, and clove, a cross between pumpkin pie and typical winter spices. The aromas carry through in the taste with a malt backbone and some tart notes. A lot going on, nicely balanced and interesting. Good winter brew. jhamp9 (1830) - Corinth, Texas, USA - DEC 1, 2014
Clear red brown pour with a beige head that fades down to a ring. Strong spice aroma. Lots of ginger, nutmeg and orange peel with some nutty toasty malts. Taste follows but has a slight medicinal character. Full body.

Lots of ginger and spice taste but not as heavy as the pumking. Would buy a case of this for sure. gwpom (297) - Akron, New York, USA - NOV 26, 2014
Nice winter ale. Spiced and amber colored, small cream colored head. I’d have this again. ccex (1284) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - NOV 24, 2014
12 oz. bottle pours a clear reddish amber with moderate white head and lots of spots of lacing. Aroma is spicy - almost like Pumking mixed with Swedish Glogg. Taste is sweet with some bitterness but lots of spices in the finish. Body is medium with average carbonation and a sticky mouthfeel. This one needs to be sipped, with alcohol noticeable. An interesting holiday brew, but I’m not sure If I’ll try this one again next year. RichieBoy (64) - Getzville, New York, USA - NOV 16, 2014
I was a little skeptical after their pumpking was so overpowering with spices but this one was just right. Nice spice aroma and taste, clear reddish color. Definitely a holiday favorite!
