Very spicy aroma, anise, cinnamon. Darn good at first but becomes a bit harder to drink further down the glass. A more subtle approach would have, benefited it.

[Bottle (12oz)] Pours a clear deep amber with an average size long-lasting frothy tan head. Aroma has lots of spice first -- cinnamon, ginger and more -- followed by dark fruit, a bit of alcohol and caramel malt. Spicy, fruity flavour along with caramel malt. Alcohol is reasonably well hidden. Medium bodied. Really spicy and I really like it!

Clear dark woodsy amber. Nose is robustly spiceful with some coriander, cinnamon, chai, tea, lemon zest, and curry powder. Weird intrinsic aroma. The taste is warm and spicy with big earthy malt undertones, built upon by chai spice and something like nutmeg and cinnamon, rustic caramel, and ginger. All over the place.

Bottle->taster at Dominion W&B. Dark brown with small lite tan head. Fruit, holiday spices, malt. Components are in good balance, no overwhelming spices stand out. Very good.

Dark brown/red pour with a thin tan head. Huge spicy aroma with lots of nutmeg, cinammon and clove. Flavor matches the aroma, lots of spice, the cinnamon is a bit more pronounced, and there is a very slight hint of citrus on the back end. Nice take on a christmas brew.

Very solid seasonal from Southern Tier! Pours a rich blackish-brown while putting off hints of nutmeg and cinnamon. Taste makes you want to be with family talking fireside!

Very aromatic with huge amounts of spice. The flavor is a bit sharp and has just a touch of a funky finish.
