Very solid seasonal from Southern Tier! Pours a rich blackish-brown while putting off hints of nutmeg and cinnamon. Taste makes you want to be with family talking fireside! jkwalking05 (4743) - Arlington, Texas, USA - DEC 28, 2013
12 oz bottle. Dark brown with an average cream colored head. Aroma is of cinnamon, anise, clove, chestnut, and toffee. Taste is of clove, nutmeg, cinnamon, and nuts. travita (5006) - Dallas, Texas, USA - DEC 28, 2013
Bottle. The smell is soapy, fruits, prune, and apple pie. The look is clear, a beige colored head, and red brick colored. The taste is fruits, apples, spice, and sugary. wisdomsolo (466) - St Petersburg, Florida, USA - DEC 27, 2013
Very aromatic with huge amounts of spice. The flavor is a bit sharp and has just a touch of a funky finish. Streak (15) - - DEC 27, 2013
A tasty spiced beer. Lots if holiday flavors and makes for a good addition with holiday pie.

Draught at The Beer Trappe. Spicy X-mas ale with traces of nutmeg and all the other stuff. Amber. Malty. Ok. MIBRomeo (2570) - Wisconsin, USA - DEC 27, 2013
Copper colored pour glows a bit in the sunlight carrying a tiny bubbled off white head with great lacing. The aroma is a bit if a hot mess but not in a bad way. Cardamom and orange zest dominate then some other spices maybe clove and nutmeg. Slightly reminiscent of a mulled cider. Flavor is a bit sweet some dark fruits and all the spices. Full well coated palate. Overall only OK and I might have been happier withba smaller glass as it gets a but cloying. FSUScott (112) - Rome, Georgia, USA - DEC 26, 2013
From tap. Pours a nice amber/red color with a slightly off white head. Smells like pine trees and figs. Very smooth on the front side going tangy in the middle. Finishes creamy and smooth. Aftertaste is only slightly bitter. Tastes like christmas at home. One of my favorite american holiday brews. 5000 (6862) - Hardened Liver, Washington, USA - DEC 26, 2013
Bottle:   Deep ruby, thin frothy beige head, dies quickly, little lacing.   Strong clove and allspice... and I mean strong.   Spicy start, clove, gingerbread, and allspice.   Could pass as a Pumpkin Beer.   Body and mouthfeel are moderate.   Finish is extremely spicy.   Almost too much in fact.   This one was just an over abundance of spices that made it hard to finish even a 12oz bottle.   Very bright spiciness is nice, but this one was over the top spicy. 12 oz. bottle poured into shaker. Pours clear ruby color with a fleeting off-white head. Spicy aroma with notes of candied fruit, orange, coriander and clove. Flavor follows suit with some lingering bitterness and a slightly warming alcohol finish. I’ve never had Glögg, but I may need to correct that.
