Bottle from Beer Trappe. Pours a deep copper. Aroma of spice and malt. Well balanced. geologyguy (1583) - Columbia, South Carolina, USA - DEC 9, 2016
UPDATED: DEC 9, 2016 Unique sweet smell...very good...festive..taste is like light dark malts and orange peel, figs are definitely present...decent complexity and flavor...bold...cinnamon finish...in Syracuse for 15th high school reunion Hiledd (116) - Massachusetts, USA - NOV 23, 2016
Cinnamon and cherry aroma, reddish brown color, clear. Low head retention. Full body with chewy malt texture. Clove overpowers flavor, with dried fruit, cinnamon, and toffee malt. Slow supper in a cold afternoon.

A solid seasonal beer, lightly spiced and really smooth for the high alcohol content. jsporrer (985) - Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, USA - NOV 17, 2016
Pours a semi clear medium caramel with a thin tan ring. Strong aroma of fall spices and sweet cinnamon. Medium body with some lacing. Tastes of dark fruits with a variety of spices. Not harsh or bitter but the spice mixture isn?t that enjoyable. Too much of a nutmeg or allspice flavoring. I?ve had worse but I?ve also had better.
