Pours a rich copper color. Spicy cinnamon aroma. Clean tasting malty goodness with a hint of more spice in the aftertaste. Overall, a nice beer for the holidays. Thanks to Kevin for sharing. markducommun (1116) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - DEC 7, 2013
Allspice, ginger, malt. Cloudy orange brown. Bitter spiciness, transitions to a little more sweetness. Heavy mouthfeel, alcohol is fairly present.

Tasted on February 7, 2013:
A: Pours a very dark amber, Kind of a maple color. Barely any retention.
S: Numerous spices right off the bat. A faint hint of orange and some cinnamon. No fig.
T: Mouth full of spices. Picking up mainly cinnamon and nutmeg. Very malty in the beginning and a slight fig note in the end. Not very sweet in the end.
M: Wouldn’t go as far as smooth, but a good sipping beer. I have a medium heaviness left on my tongue.
O: A very unique and good spiced winter ale. Enjoyed the cinnamon and nutmeg. Just wish there was a little more to it.

Nice dark brown / red.
Plenty of spice.
Seems a little boozy.. But it might be because I have a cold.

Pours brown with a thin head. Aroma is spices clove, cinnamon, nutmeg, etc. Flavor is a little sweet caramel and lots of spice. Nice Christmas beer, but a little will go a long way with me. Voodoo (666) - Pennsylvania, USA - DEC 5, 2013
Pours a deep chestnut brown with a slight head. Aroma of nutmeg, orange, cinnamon.....very nice aroma.....Taste is a spice bomb, so many assaulting the tongue at once.....nutmeg, coriander, orange peel, touch of lemon, bit os cinnamon, pepper??, sweet maltiness and ending with a hop bitterness. Interesting as a one off, but that might be enough for one night. blutt59 (6564) - Dallas, Texas, USA - DEC 5, 2013
bottled, dark brown crimson colored pour with tan foam, lots of cinnamon and holiday spices, even a little much, has good balanced hoppiness on finish, nice Christmas beer robgibbens (432) - Gaithersburg, Maryland, USA - DEC 4, 2013
The color is caramel and licorice, like deep ruby. Head is thin. Mulling spices and bubblegum/candy in the aroma. Shortly bitter taste balances the sweeter aroma. Finishes clean, lighter bodied. revolution2718 (379) - New Jersey, USA - DEC 2, 2013
Pours dark brown. Nose is spics , cloves, nutmeg, cinnamon, basically the whole sprice cabinet, also pine. Taste starts with a caramel malt, pine, then hits you with a ton of spices on the back end. Maybe a touch of bitterness from some orange peel. Pretty light body. Ok, I can't drink much of this though. Too much spice.
