Bottle pour into nonic pint glass from Epsom Circle Market. Aroma is strong spice--nutmeg, allspice, pepper, cardamom?, others--light citrus. Appearance is hazy mahogany without sparkle and nice foamy lacing. Taste is spices, pepper, mixed with sweet. Palate is medium bodied with thick, creamy texture and pleasant lively carbonation with slight numbing to the lips, spicy finish. Overall, spicy treat that is pretty unique. hotstuff (5158) - Fort Wayne, Indiana, USA - FEB 17, 2016
Rated on 02-16-2016 (Bottle) The appearance is a small creamy, smooth beige head with a long retention, amber transparent body, very fizzy carbonation, and spotty lacing. The aroma presents spicy, cinnamon, semi-sweet, caramel malt, and some nutmeg. The flavor is very spicy, ginger, some alcohol, caramel malt, sweet, and some dark fruit. The mouthfeel is light carbonation and this beer is medium bodied. A very quaffable beer that is quite spicy tasting which was a bit too much for my liking. It is a beer worth trying. Cloudy amber with a small white head. Aroma is spruce tips with a little fig. Flavor is sweet up front with hints of fig and a heavy dose of spruce in the finish. paintedmaple (671) - People’s Republic of Bloomington, Indiana, USA - FEB 17, 2016
Tap...nice aroma of allspice is followed by a respectably dry beer as this style seems too often to be overly sugared. The initial spice was assertive, but upon drinking it moved to the background. Finished nicely clean for the style and was easy drinking. Good Xmas stuff. Turboninja (710) - Tampere, FINLAND - FEB 13, 2016

, from Constantino’s, Cleveland, USA. Medium aroma with pine, cinnamon and other herbs. Deep amber color with no head and slightly hazy liquid. Medium/strong taste with resin, pine and other spices. Unbalanced with narrow/medium taste spectrum and medium slightly hoppy aftertaste with cinnamon. Light/medium body with medium carbonation. Overall, messy and simple product with pungent taste on resin.
Pours a nice deep amber color with an off white head. Strong smells of nutmeg, cinnamon, gingerbread and other spices. Flavors were more of the same with a touch of fig/raisin. The spices were a bit overwhelming for me. I normally like spiced beers but this was overdone just a tad. The alcohol is hidden well. Medium bodied. Overall it was decent but I probably won’t buy it again. 60minuteman (1712) - West Chester, Pennsylvania, USA - JAN 19, 2016
Draft from Rams. Copper color, minimal head. Lots of spice in this one. Cinnamon, nutmeg, basically tastes like Xmas. Oaky malts and spicy hop. mcox90 (2088) - Wilton, New Hampshire, USA - JAN 16, 2016
12 oz. bottle from The Beer Store. They happened to be tasting it when I walked in, so I bought a couple. Pours a delightful clear deep mahogany with a small ecru head. Aroma features the spices. Nutmeg, light cinnamon and clove. Rich sweet flavor with all the above and some dark fruits and real light chocolate. Medium in body with low level of carbonation. Warming. Very nice! Pours light cherry with slight off white lacing. Aroma is faint clove and raisin. The spice in this bottle is not as pronounced as described. I’m not as pleased as I expected with this one. mansquito (6425) - Nueva York, New York, USA - JAN 3, 2016
Some bodega: pours mahogany with white head. Aroma is gingerbread, spice, more spice, and malts. Taste is much the same. Pretty intense on the spice aspect of it. Medium to full bodied. Alcohol well covered. Not bad but not something I ever crave.
