Bottle@home, from Constantinos, Cleveland, USA. Medium aroma with pine, cinnamon and other herbs. Deep amber color with no head and slightly hazy liquid. Medium/strong taste with resin, pine and other spices. Unbalanced with narrow/medium taste spectrum and medium slightly hoppy aftertaste with cinnamon. Light/medium body with medium carbonation. Overall, messy and simple product with pungent taste on resin.

Pours a nice deep amber color with an off white head. Strong smells of nutmeg, cinnamon, gingerbread and other spices. Flavors were more of the same with a touch of fig/raisin. The spices were a bit overwhelming for me. I normally like spiced beers but this was overdone just a tad. The alcohol is hidden well. Medium bodied. Overall it was decent but I probably wont buy it again.

Draft from Rams. Copper color, minimal head. Lots of spice in this one. Cinnamon, nutmeg, basically tastes like Xmas. Oaky malts and spicy hop.

12 oz. bottle from The Beer Store. They happened to be tasting it when I walked in, so I bought a couple. Pours a delightful clear deep mahogany with a small ecru head. Aroma features the spices. Nutmeg, light cinnamon and clove. Rich sweet flavor with all the above and some dark fruits and real light chocolate. Medium in body with low level of carbonation. Warming. Very nice!

Pours light cherry with slight off white lacing. Aroma is faint clove and raisin. The spice in this bottle is not as pronounced as described. Im not as pleased as I expected with this one.

Some bodega: pours mahogany with white head. Aroma is gingerbread, spice, more spice, and malts. Taste is much the same. Pretty intense on the spice aspect of it. Medium to full bodied. Alcohol well covered. Not bad but not something I ever crave.

Dark , mahogany color. Thin , off-white head. Cinnamon, cloves, nutmeg , citrus and malt in aroma . After that I expected sweet, malty bomb in taste .However , it was surprisingly bitter and balanced . Light alcohol in finish .

Aroma: spices, citrus, tender and sweet malt Taste: sweet malt is balanced by bitter hop. Spices are not annoying, they just add perfection to this beer. Creamy and thick. Great brew

DATE TASTED: December 27, 2015... GLASSWARE: Duvel tulip...OCCASION: ... APPEARANCE: dark, ruby-brown body that is almost opaque; small, lonely bubbles are present; the head recedes to an off-white ring that suggests heavier alcohol than the normal ale provides--no lacing... AROMA: instantaneous impression of spruce, pine, and port... a second breath brings cinnamon, clove, allspice, pepper and slight hints of citrus--quite a bowl full of punch... PALATE: full-bodied, frothy, vibrant and warming, especially at the throat... a scotch-like complexity, smooth, memorable and long at the finish... TASTE: cinnamon, vanilla, allspice, chocolate, complex sugars, some dry wine, pine, and citrus suggests a punch bowl of flavors... the malts are engaging, with bread and natural elements reminiscent of a walk in the woods ...OVERALL: with quite a return for every sip, this holiday offering is sweet, strong, and slowly sippable... further, this is a seasonal whose price tag makes it even more alluring... still waiting to be disappointed by a Southern Tier offering, but it will not be tonight
