Bottle. Strong aroma of cinnamon and nutmeg. Dark amber body with thin dissipating head. Flavor is dominated by spices; nutmeg, cloves, ginger, hints of orange peel, malts and brandy. A dryer beer, interesting flavor.

Pours a clear and very dark ruby color. Aroma is dominated by spices but nutmeg and cloves are the most noticeable. Alcohol is evident as it warms. Taste follows the nose with some malt presence although the spice taste is not as strong as the aroma led me to expect. The body is medium and there is not a lot of carbonation. An interesting beer but I am not a fan of the spices.

12oz bottle. Pours a deep garnet red with virtually no head. Aroma is majorly spiced - which I suppose I should have expected from the 2x label. Cloves and other holiday spices dominate. There is some sweet malt as well. Flavors are also dominated by the spices - especially in the finish and the lingering aftertaste. It seems to fit the style and the goal of the beer, but not really my style or preference for a holiday brew.

Draft @ Monster Bs. Pours a dark ruby, this beer has an instant pumpkin spice scent upon sipping. Along with these scents, there is a dry pine hop flavor with faint lavender notes as well. Medium-bodied and not too difficult to put down.

Draft. The pour is a vibrant amber with a frothy head. The aroma is very strong of christmas spices, cinnamon, ginger. The taste is exactly the way it smells. A very solid christmas ale. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

The aroma is very spicy and fruity with all the smells of the season. There is also caramel and pine hops. The appearance is amber with a medium head. The taste is like the aroma. The palate is smooth. Overall a great example of the Christmas/winter/holiday style but a bit to astringent for me.

12 oz pour from bottle at perch pub at philadelphia. not too bad, took about an hour to drink though. Can smell and taste the mulling spices. Syrupy and some taste of alcohol. Nice winter beer, but would not be disappointed to wait a year to have again.

Bottle. Clear, copper color with no head. Strong spice aroma that is approaching cough syrup. Medium body, a little syrupy, moderate finish. Interesting Xmas beer, but not a favorite.

Cinnamon, nutmeg, and some medicine in the aroma. Flavor starts spicy then finishes with an herbal bitterness and some alcohol. Different and good.

12oz bottle. The pour was a clear dark cranberry red with a small (less than 1 finger) light brown creamy head that receded steadily, down to a small puddled film and small collar with excellent full sheeting of lacing. The aroma was a complex mix of scents with a light grain malt and a sweaty yeast along with notes of citrus (orange peel), ginger, clove, cinnamon, dark fruit (figs and raisons) and a pronounced Glgg (mulled wine) odor. The taste was lightly sweet with hints of dark fruit and Glgg from the get go, becoming a tad bitter and rather yeasty with hints of orange peel and cinnamon somewhere in the middle and a spicy alcohol ending. The flavor lasted a nice long time following the swallow, with a spicy yeast infused alcohol warming sensation lingering on for a little while longer. Mouthfeel was almost medium in body and dry in texture with a somewhat bold carbonation. Overall this brew is what Winter Warmers are all about, lots of spicy flavor and a good alcohol warming at the end...
