Bottle. Nutmeg, ginger, molasses, cake aroma .. reminds me of ginger cake. Light chestnut with a moderate beige head, creamy lacing. Ginger, nutmeg, molasses, and ginger bread flavor. Medium body and carbonation. northropfrye (3593) - Steinbach, Manitoba, CANADA - JAN 6, 2013
This was a very enjoyable Christmas spice beer, which is not a style I’m a huge fan of but I found this one quite nice. umich03jm (3513) - Flat Rock, Michigan, USA - JAN 1, 2015
Bottle. Reddish brown pour with a very small head. Aroma is a spice bomb. All spice, ginger, cinnamon and nutmeg. Tastes like a sweet spice bomb. Burnt sugar and spices dominate. Some light toffee too. Medium body. Overall, too sweet and too much spice but it’s not terrible. Ed5388 (3480) - Forked River, New Jersey, USA - DEC 13, 2013
12oz bottle from Crossroads Spirits. Pours a clear dark amber color with a finger of frothy khaki colored head. Aroma of oranges, toasted malts, tons of spice (mainly cinnamon), and mild sweet caramel. Taste of overpowering cinnamon and other spices, caramel malt, orange peel, and light citrus. I know the spice is the main focus of this beer, but its too much for my liking. OldGrowth (3474) - the Containment Area, North Carolina, USA - DEC 19, 2013

A nice Christmas beer., Not a huge fan of this genre to begin with, but it did get me in the holiday spirit (even though it’s still a week away from Thanksgiving). Aroma and taste were the same. All spices. Cinnamon, allspice, ginger and pine. Not sure if pine is in there or not, but tasted/smelled like it. Nice carbonation. Decent beer that I could drink one of during the holidays but that’s it. puboflyons (3432) - Allenstown, New Hampshire, USA - DEC 22, 2013
From the 12 fl. oz. bottle. Mahogany-cherry amber colored pour with a quick lasting off-white fizzy head. The spices in the aroma include a big dose of ginger and nutmeg, clove and allspice. Light hop note. Medium body. The booze tends to kick in more in the taste than on the nose along with the ginger and peppery spices. The finish lingers and ends dry. jcnielsen (3412) - Charlotte, North Carolina, USA - NOV 23, 2012
Bottle shared at Exira Beer Summit 2012. Pours a deep brown color with white head. Spiced, malty, cinnamon, brown sugar, nutmeg aromas and flavors. Very spiced flavors, maybe overly spiced. Probably wouldn’t want to drink a full beer of this. Beerdedone (3408) - Croydon, Pennsylvania, USA - MAR 31, 2013
Bottle. Pours dark copper with a thin tan head. Aroma of ginger, cinnamon, nutmeg, cloves and winter spices. Flavor was toasted malts, cinnamon, caramel, nutmeg, a touch of orange and xmas spices with a slightly bitter finish. Elwood (3336) - Leesburg, Virginia, USA - FEB 3, 2013
Serving: 12 oz. bottle from Wegmans Leesburg. It pours a deep red color with a short lived, tan head. There’s a spicy holiday bouquet of spice cake, mace, clove, and cinnamon. The flavor follows suit with all of those spices coming to mix with a bit of orange in a spiced up fruitcake sort of way. There’s a light bitterness on the back end. Full bodied and slightly oily on the palate. To the holidays!
