Bottle. Poured a clear copper color with a very small off-white head. Aroma was heavy on the Christmas spices - lots of cinnamon, ginger, nutmeg. Flavor had notes of ginger, with cinnamon and nutmeg. PorterPounder (8226) - Tallahassee, Florida, USA - NOV 16, 2012
Tallahassee, Fl - New Leaf Market - 12 oz bottle. Dark copper pour, tight off-white head that hangs around a while. Interesting spicy aroma with hints of Christmas spices, Carbona carpet cleaner, and nutmeg. Flavor has a spicy tinge to it with some nutmeg, some candy-like citrus flavoring, some cranberry sauce notes, some licorice like accents. Mouthfeel is slightly sticky. Turns slightly cloying near the end - 12 oz was enough. JaBier (8156) - Capital City, Ohio, USA - NOV 18, 2012

UPDATED: JAN 17, 2016 Sampled from a 12 oz brown bottle this beer poured a dark brown color with orange highlights and a large foamy orange-brown head that lingered and left decent lacing. The aroma was sweet plum, sugar and nutmeg. The flavor was tangy plum, cherry, nutmeg, clove, anise, bread and brandy. Medium length finish of plum, nutmeg, bread and brandy. Moderately full bodied. Well done. after4ever (8025) - Mukilteo, Washington, USA - NOV 12, 2012
Draft at sb. Pours a murky dark amber with a dense and creamy tan head. Big candied ginger nose, very much like a cascade dish soap. With sheeting action. Creamy medium body lively carb. Ginger, molasses, and dish detergent mid palate. Long molasses ginger finish.

Appearance: Clear amber with a small off-white head and some lacing
Aroma: Spruce tips, spices and sweet malts
Taste: Toasted malts, spices, sweet caramel, finishes with plastic coating your mouth
Ok, not enjoyable.
[Bottle (12oz)] Pours a clear deep amber with an average size long-lasting frothy tan head. Aroma has lots of spice first -- cinnamon, ginger and more -- followed by dark fruit, a bit of alcohol and caramel malt. Spicy, fruity flavour along with caramel malt. Alcohol is reasonably well hidden. Medium bodied. Really spicy and I really like it! PhillyCraft (7714) - Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA - NOV 2, 2016
BB Backlog, Bottle. Pours an orange red shade. Aroma is spice, toast, gingerbread. All kind of christmas cookie notes in this one, some dough, cinnamon, and other nutmeg type spicing. Body is medium. Interesting beer from ST. Ughsmash (7508) - Pewaukee, Wisconsin, USA - FEB 26, 2013
Bottled. Poured a nice shade of reddish-amber with a short darker beige head. The aroma picked up a lot of warm, wintery spices (cinnamon, nutmeg, cloves, and vanilla came to mind) with sweet figs and biscuity malts supporting.. warm and welcoming. The flavor found tangy, peppery spices and orange peel on the tip of the tongue, with figs, molasses, and caramel following.. cinnamon and nutmeg around.. finished with warm spices, figs, and molasses on the finish. Medium-bodied, warm, and spicy on the palate.. this was tasty stuff. vtafro (7445) - Wayne, New Jersey, USA - NOV 29, 2012
Draft. Amber brown pour with tan head. Spices, cinnamon and sweet candy like aroma. Gingerbread, cinnamon and spice flavors. Definitely festive.
