Bottled. Poured a nice shade of reddish-amber with a short darker beige head. The aroma picked up a lot of warm, wintery spices (cinnamon, nutmeg, cloves, and vanilla came to mind) with sweet figs and biscuity malts supporting.. warm and welcoming. The flavor found tangy, peppery spices and orange peel on the tip of the tongue, with figs, molasses, and caramel following.. cinnamon and nutmeg around.. finished with warm spices, figs, and molasses on the finish. Medium-bodied, warm, and spicy on the palate.. this was tasty stuff. vtafro (7444) - Wayne, New Jersey, USA - NOV 29, 2012
Draft. Amber brown pour with tan head. Spices, cinnamon and sweet candy like aroma. Gingerbread, cinnamon and spice flavors. Definitely festive. Iphonephan (7283) - Jackson Hole/McLean, Virginia, USA - JAN 1, 2013
From a 12 oz bottle. Pours a fairly clear cola with an off white head. Aroma of cloves, cinnamon and orange. Hints of toffee and raisin. Warming and slightly bitter finish. JStax (7179) - Devola/Marietta, Ohio, USA - DEC 22, 2014
Draft pour into a pint glass. Pours a clear amber color with a beige head of foam. Good retention and lacing. The aroma is slice and astringent bitterness. Taste is more of that. Bitter finish with medium body and medium carbonation. I just dont really care for the style, I suppose. wlajwl (7069) - Quad Cities, Iowa, USA - NOV 15, 2012
Aroma and flavor is spices, very medicinal, similar to mouthwash and not again.

trailer. Clear mahogany color with ivory head. Nice orange peel, ginger, pit fruit, clove, allspice festive aromas. Medium bodied with average carbonation. Holiday spice rack sharp flavors with cinnamon, allspice, clove, orange peel, pit fruit----warming spicy finish____very tasty.
Some bodega: pours mahogany with white head. Aroma is gingerbread, spice, more spice, and malts. Taste is much the same. Pretty intense on the spice aspect of it. Medium to full bodied. Alcohol well covered. Not bad but not something I ever crave. kramer (6905) - Sunbury, Pennsylvania, USA - DEC 16, 2014
Bottle. Pours a clear dark chestnut body under a one finger frothy off-white head. The nose is super crazy spicy, huge amounts of cinnamon, nutmeg, maybe some ginger, orange peel, and fairly heavy sweetness. The flavor is just as over loaded with spices as the aroma was showing. The cinnamon and ginger are so heavy they almost burn the tongue. The sweetness is even muted by the heavy spice, and I know that there’s a heavy and sweet malt base down there. Medium bodied with a sticky and clingy finish and lots of fizzy carbonation. Not an easy drinking beer, thankfully this one is only a 12 oz bottle. 5000 (6862) - Hardened Liver, Washington, USA - DEC 26, 2013
Bottle:   Deep ruby, thin frothy beige head, dies quickly, little lacing.   Strong clove and allspice... and I mean strong.   Spicy start, clove, gingerbread, and allspice.   Could pass as a Pumpkin Beer.   Body and mouthfeel are moderate.   Finish is extremely spicy.   Almost too much in fact.   This one was just an over abundance of spices that made it hard to finish even a 12oz bottle.   Very bright spiciness is nice, but this one was over the top spicy.
