12oz bottle@ trailer. Clear mahogany color with ivory head. Nice orange peel, ginger, pit fruit, clove, allspice festive aromas. Medium bodied with average carbonation. Holiday spice rack sharp flavors with cinnamon, allspice, clove, orange peel, pit fruit----warming spicy finish____very tasty. 5000 (6862) - Hardened Liver, Washington, USA - DEC 26, 2013
Bottle:   Deep ruby, thin frothy beige head, dies quickly, little lacing.   Strong clove and allspice... and I mean strong.   Spicy start, clove, gingerbread, and allspice.   Could pass as a Pumpkin Beer.   Body and mouthfeel are moderate.   Finish is extremely spicy.   Almost too much in fact.   This one was just an over abundance of spices that made it hard to finish even a 12oz bottle.   Very bright spiciness is nice, but this one was over the top spicy. wlajwl (6738) - Quad Cities, Iowa, USA - NOV 15, 2012
Aroma and flavor is spices, very medicinal, similar to mouthwash and not again.

Bottle. Pours a clear dark chestnut body under a one finger frothy off-white head. The nose is super crazy spicy, huge amounts of cinnamon, nutmeg, maybe some ginger, orange peel, and fairly heavy sweetness. The flavor is just as over loaded with spices as the aroma was showing. The cinnamon and ginger are so heavy they almost burn the tongue. The sweetness is even muted by the heavy spice, and I know that there’s a heavy and sweet malt base down there. Medium bodied with a sticky and clingy finish and lots of fizzy carbonation. Not an easy drinking beer, thankfully this one is only a 12 oz bottle. Aroma is cola, gingerbread, cinnamon.
Taste is peppery, spiced bread/cake, nutmeg...

Very tasty..though a trifle over the top.

Location: 12 oz bottle from Oak Tree, 11/28/12
Aroma: The nose is mostly winter spices (cinnamon, nutmeg, etc), with some malty and fruity notes
Appearance: It pours a mostly clear dark reddish color with minimal head and absolutely no lace
Flavor: Tastes a lot like the nose, with a strong spice component, is lightly sweet and lightly bitter
Palate: The body is medium-plus, with an average-to-lively carbonation, and a dry, spicy finish
I found this one to be a solid, spice forward, offering. It wasn’t an absolute favorite of mine, but it had some nice components. From a categorization standpoint, I personally would probably call it a Spice/Herb/Veggie, but I guess you can’t go wrong sticking something in the catch-all American Strong category.
