Nice brown coloured body with a ruby glow and a thin, fast-dying tan head. Aroma of nice spice, banana bread, allspice, canella and a ton of nutmeg. Medium to Full-bodied; Strong spice flavour with allspice, cloves, cinnamon, ginger root and a hint of cardamom with some roasted malt, a bit of yeast and a definite alcohol bite on the finish. Aftertaste shows a nice spicey complexity, but the alcohol and bitterness interrupt with the warmth a bit too much and the spices overpowering. Overall, a nice beer, but not executed flawlessly - so this one should be sampled if found easily, but passed up if there are other options close by. 12 oz bottle from a 6pack from Spirits Crossroads. Poured a good looking reddish/amber with an average faomy light beige head. Aroma has that "holiday" nose, notes of spices, chocolate, toast, orange peel, cardamom. Rather full bodied with stronger carbonation that is almost stingy. Flavor is similar to the aroma with a chocolate malt backbone, pronounced spices and a touch of range peel. Solid beer but I think this would be better classified as a "spice, herb, vegetable" beer.

12oz bottle. Unfiltered glowing ruby red body. Thin beige head. Very forward with the spicing, has a nice fruitcake thing going on, cinnamon in the aftertaste. Chestnut color with a light tan colored, small and slowly diminishing head. Spicy aromas, with nutmeg, cinnamon, allspice, juniper, and orange zest. Hints of toasted malt in the backdrop. Initial pale and toasted malt sweetness is quickly overpowered by the spices. Some toffee and caramel work their way back in near the finish. Nearly burning linger from what seems to be ginger. I like it as a holiday sipping sort of brew. 12/12

On tap at Brewvolution. Brown pour with a white head. The aroma has a good bit of toffee and cinnamon to it. The flavor, on the other hand, tastes like a Christmas tree. I get a huge amount of juniper and pine as well as some allspice and cinnamon. Medium mouthfeel and medium carbonation.
