12 oz bottle. Dark brown with an average cream colored head. Aroma is of cinnamon, anise, clove, chestnut, and toffee. Taste is of clove, nutmeg, cinnamon, and nuts. jbruner (4689) - Marietta, Georgia, USA - DEC 1, 2012
Pours an opaque brown from the bottle with dissipating, frothy tan head and light lacing. Aroma of spice, pine, and roasted malt. Taste follows, complex but not overwhelming. Goes down very smooth, with hints of cinnamon and dark chocolate and fruits on the back end. Much better than I was expecting. emacgee (4674) - Chapel Hill, North Carolina, USA - FEB 26, 2017
Cloudy amber gold pour with one to two fingers of sandy white head. Nose and flavor are an absolute spice-affront to the sense. Bitter and astringent dry spices with warming alcohol and some malt sweetness. You know EXACTLY what this tastes like... jsquire (4420) - St. Marys, Ohio, USA - MAR 15, 2013
Clear copper color with a short lived khaki colored head. Nose of some cinnamon, nutmeg and Vic’s Vaporub. Very spicey holiday ale with lots of cinnamon, spice, caramel and brown sugar. Some odd medicinal sense in the background. Dusty spice finish. It drinks easier than 8%. This is a big, spicey winter seasonal. nick76 (4399) - Tampa, Florida, USA - DEC 21, 2012
The aroma is very spicy and fruity with all the smells of the season. There is also caramel and pine hops. The appearance is amber with a medium head. The taste is like the aroma. The palate is smooth. Overall a great example of the Christmas/winter/holiday style but a bit to astringent for me.

bottle @ Party Town / Florence KY --- Aroma of Christmas spice and malt (in that order). Clear bourbon colored deep amber, bubbly beige rim head, spots and dots of lace. Taste is malt that is immediately doused with a heavy dose of Christmas spice. The spice carries to a lightly hopped finish. Good, not great, pretty much a small dose brew. maxwelldeux (4374) - Snohomish, Washington, USA - DEC 8, 2012
Bottle. Pours a clear and very dark brown with a smallish white head. Nose is very spicy in the winter warmer style. Taste is also spicy, and the spice overwhelms the rest of it. thegreenrooster (4365) - St.louis, Missouri, USA - JUL 23, 2014
Pour is a murky brown with a small tan head. Aroma is loads of ginger with some other holiday spices. Flavor is more spice with a little star anise and ginger. Mouthfeel is very heavy and there is a dark candi sugar left on the tongue after this goes down. Decent spiced winter beer but way heavy though. unclemattie (4358) - Georgia, USA - DEC 25, 2012
12oz bottle. Pours mahogany color, tan head. Nice lacing. Aromas of dried dark fruits, loads of Orange Peels, some spice. Tastes of spice. Cinnamon, clove, orange peel, dried fig. Very nice holiday spice. Overall it reminds me of holiday spiced Glögg. Merry XMAS 2012. (3561) Nate (4279) - Indiana, Pennsylvania, USA - DEC 16, 2013
On tap at 3R6P. Holiday spice aroma, with coriander, allspice, and nutmeg. Light hop component, medium sweet. Deep dark copper amber clear with thin creamy lacing head. Medium body with medium-high carbonation. A little warming. Starts moderately sweet with lots of holiday spice flavor, sweet nutty finish. Medium bitterness in the after with lingering spices.
