Perfect dark amber color, fresh taste not too thick or heavy but also not a lightweight, very good seasonal brew with mild hoppiness
12 oz. bottle. Pours a nice reddish hue. Aroma has some spice, some sweet and some alcohol. Medium body. Flavor is sweet from the malt at first, then the holiday spices come through. Finish is more of the same and a touch of the orange cones through especially as it warms. Well done! GregMooreNH (165) - Bedford, New Hampshire, USA - DEC 1, 2017
Pours ruby amber with a thick, dense head. Aroma is cinnamon, orange and ginger. Taste is orange/citrus and cinnamon, warming to ginger and clove. Finish is smooth spice. A pretty good spiced ale. hitemwitthehein (32) - - NOV 18, 2017
UPDATED: DEC 5, 2017 ABV- 8.0 Double Spiced Ale.
.Appearance: Deep red, frothy tan head. Some subtle carbonation visible.
.Aroma: Heavy spice - cloves, cinnamon, ginger. Orange peel, fig.
.Taste: Upfront clove, nutmeg, cinnamon. Ginger spice, malt sweetness. Powerful spice dominating most of the flavor.
.Mouthfeel: Medium body, full, rich, slight creaminess.
.Bottom Line: This one is simple, it is exactly what it says on the bottle. A double ale brewed with an array of spices. You'll get the spice twice. Definitely on the noise and you certainly will taste it, add in a very good palate and you have yourself a solid beer. This beer does what it set out to do, put some Christmas spirit in a bottle. 2x. ordybill (1815) - Douglasville, Georgia, USA - MAY 25, 2017
Poured from the tap into a pint glass. The appearance is a murky brown color with a small white head. The aroma is cinnamon, all spice and sweet additionals. The taste mirrors the nose. an excellent winter warmer. Aggiebob (1324) - Huntsville, Alabama, USA - MAY 16, 2017
Bottle. It poured a murky brown color witha thin off-white head. The aroma was allspice with some dark fruit notes on the tongue. It has a thick mouthfeel and an overall warming sensation. Not bad, but I probably need to try this again when it is cooler.

Deep reddish brown, thin tan head. Cardamom, allspice, clove, ginger, molasses, orange, dark roasted malt. Medium heavy sweet and bitter, medium tart. Spicy and fruity - they did a pretty good job of imitating glogg. emacgee (4708) - Chapel Hill, North Carolina, USA - FEB 26, 2017
Cloudy amber gold pour with one to two fingers of sandy white head. Nose and flavor are an absolute spice-affront to the sense. Bitter and astringent dry spices with warming alcohol and some malt sweetness. You know EXACTLY what this tastes like... JPDIPSO (6293) - Wauwatosa, USA - JAN 29, 2017
Chestnut color with a light tan colored, small and slowly diminishing head. Spicy aromas, with nutmeg, cinnamon, allspice, juniper, and orange zest. Hints of toasted malt in the backdrop. Initial pale and toasted malt sweetness is quickly overpowered by the spices. Some toffee and caramel work their way back in near the finish. Nearly burning linger from what seems to be ginger. I like it as a holiday sipping sort of brew. 12/12 BroadestTom (446) - Pennsylvania, USA - JAN 7, 2017

Taste medium sweetness,
Palate medium body,
Overall they nailed the holiday spirit in this beer. Lots of spice with hints of orange peel. Not my type of beer so my raiting is low for that reason. It’s still a good beer from a good brewery. I would not suggest this beer to a friend.
Somewhat muted holiday spice brew. Not great, but not bad. Hint of solvent. Good body. Good finish.
