2XSMASH is the newest in our line of single malt and single hop India Pale Ales, brewed with Mosaic hops and Special pale malt. Even simplified to one variety of hop and one type of malt, it is amazing how complex the flavor is. Mosaic hops are known for their luxurious tropical citrus notes like passionfruit and work absolutely brilliantly with the richness of Special pale malt. Cheers!

12-ounce bottle pours clear orange with a monster off-white soap-bubble head. Aroma: malt, nuts, citrus. Flavor: toasted malt, blood orange, pine needles, toast, pineapple. Mouthfeel: rich, savory, yet with a very dry finish and still seemingly light. Drinkable in large quantities, despite the high alcohol percentage.

Pours clear orange with a lot of carbonation and foam. The aroma is spicy, bright citrus. I dont pick up on much, malt-wise, in the aroma. The malt is very subtle on the flavor. This thing is all about the mosaic hop load that dominates the tongue front to back. Slightly dank, bitter, with pine and floral character, pepper and garlic notes, and a slightly oily mouthfeel. Pretty good.

Delivered in a mail delivery no knowledge, no alliegeance. Really a very fine presentation. Pop the cap of the 12 oz. bottle and take it from there. A nice grapefruit and pine scent. It tastes of juniper, lime and a little something metallic. Quite full of hop effect. Typically a very good brew containing Mosaic hops. I have found beers with Mosaic have been appreciated significantly more. Nice, nice. Jumps up and down on my taste buds. Pretty swell.

Strong floral and citrus hops. Unique aftertaste, hoppy, but hard to really pinpoint.

Cloudy golden color. Amazing how this beer (that was recently purchased in WA), in just few months became a sweet cereal soup, a bit fruity, a bit resiny, more than drinkable per se, but clearly old.

12 oz. bottle, pours a hazy golden orange with a small white head. Aroma brings out lots of earthy hops, some light tropical fruits and bready malt. Flavour is showing an obviously too old IIPA, with earthy hops, subdued tropical fruits and bready caramel malt. This couldve been good fresh, but as of now, its too muted. Ill rate it generously due to the age and my neglectfulness at looking at the bottling date.
