Light golden yellow color. Head floats away quickly. Not all that impressive, to be truthful.
The smell is a wheat base, that is overpowered by a slight funk of something I can’t quite identify. It’s not altogether unpleasant, but not great. More wheat than pale.
The taste is a peppery first sip, which dominates the flavor. A strange pilsnery hop, which seems out of place here. Really sharp flavor. Interesting....
The feel is smooth and buttery. A bite on the back and at the swallow. More of a wheat beer than a pale ale, although it has aspects of both. A decent drink, nothing amazing. Cletus (6355) - Connecticut, USA - AUG 31, 2009
Pours copper/gold with a tan head. Smells of sweet wheat and some citrus. Tastes sweet and citrussy with some earthy hints on the finish. Defreni (3214) - Husum, DENMARK - AUG 30, 2009
Flaske: Flot lysegul øl med et fint skumhoved. Duft af hyld en smule hvede og et gran humle. Smagen er dejlig frisk med en god karbonering. Finish er en god bitterhed. Dejlig sommerøl. Dedollewaitor (16121) - Odense, DENMARK - AUG 29, 2009
Bottle @ Hj Hansen, Odense. Pours unclear yellow with a small creamy white head and lacings. Nose is wheat and citrus. Very moderate and mild. Sweet wheaty flavor with hints of caramel. Medium bodied. Dry end. phaleslu (10239) - Cincinnati, Ohio, USA - AUG 28, 2009
12 oz. bottle from Baba Budan’s in Cincinnati. Pours clear gold with virtually no head, and the little there is vanishes quickly. Weak aroma with notes of hops, wheat, fruit, and sugar. Flavor is also disappointingly weak, with a little each of wheat, citrus, and hops. Light body and very smooth, medium carbonation. Crisp, quick finish. Very easy to drink but underwhelming in every way. Southern Tier can do so much better than this.

Clear golden with a tiny head. Sweet malty aroma with caramel and wheat and mild hoppy notee. Flavour was sweet and wheaty with hops, lemons and malty notes. Finished mild bitter. dalekliz (922) - San Diego, California, USA - AUG 27, 2009
Bottle. Pours a hazy yellow-amber with a bubbly white ring. Crisp aroma, of wheat, citrus, spices, malt. Taste starts crisp, with wheat and citrus, then picks up a hoppy bitterness, with malt and spices. Lingering crispness. Not bad. tiggmtl (4545) - East York, Ontario, CANADA - AUG 27, 2009
Surprisingly sweet with notes of honey, oranges, melon and plenty of tea-like tannins. There’s also a bit of a metallic undercurrent that doesn’t work for me. Brilliantly clear golden body is topped by a decent white head that recedes rapidly to a lasting cover with some lacing. Citrus is apparent along with some pine-like hop character a bit of corn. Bitterness is quite pronounced and I’m noting that metallic undercurrent in the nose carries through in the flavour. Odd aftertaste - it’s quite briney and a bit vegetal and brings pickles to mind. Light body with moderate carbonation. This just isn’t working out for me all that well. Tulip glass. Just above fridge temperature. Bottle purchased at Brewery Creek in Jul-09. sunevdj (4087) - Copenhagen OE, DENMARK - AUG 26, 2009
Pours a hazy golden with a small white diminishing head. Sweet and quite bitter. Some aromas of honey. Also some fruits. Medium bodied. Medium carbonation. Dry finish. blankboy (7689) - Toronto, Ontario, CANADA - AUG 24, 2009
Bottle [12oz]. Pours a clear bubbly gold with an average size fizzy white head. Aroma of citrus fruit, yeast, lightly toasted malt and mild hops. Flavour of light spices, hops, wheat and a good bitter finish. Average bodied. Interesting beer, like a Pale Ale mixed with a Wheat -- I liked it.
