Bottle pours yellow small white head. Med carb. Smells tastes of grass floral wheat sweet. Has slight bitterness to it not much. Pretty thin I though. Not bad pretty smooth could put away a six pack prob as fast as you open bottles. Very light. Water like. msojka (457) - New Jersey, USA - APR 11, 2012
Pour is a light clear golden color with a thin white head, strong carbonation. Nose is of light fruits and a little bit of hay. Taste is thin, a little bit sweet, but nothing exciting, mostly the wheat shines through. Ret12 (454) - Maryland, USA - OCT 11, 2011
This beer was a little different than there pale ale but it was not complex enough for my liking. steelcitybrew (454) - Orlando, Florida, USA - JUL 12, 2010
12 oz bottle from whole foods. pours a hazy yellow, with a small white head. solid aroma with pine, citrus, wheat, and grass. taste is solid with a piney, wheat, orange taste. palate is decent, light mouthfeel. ok finish. overall this is a decent beer from an great brewery.

Not much happening with this beer for me, pretty nondescript, tasting the wheat a little, more of a mellow almost watery beer, slight bit of hops detected, but again, not much going on. l1br4r14n (451) - Rancho Cucamonga, California, USA - APR 22, 2009
Aroma of wheat and yeast. Flavor is much like the aroma, plus notes of grapefruit and other citrus fruits. alcaponejunior (445) - Texas, USA - FEB 10, 2012
Average appearance. Yellow and mostly clear, not a whole lot of head, a bit of lace. Definitely bready and yeasty. A little floral. A little grainy. Smell is overall light but somewhat sweet and pleasant. Taste is sweet, grainy, yeasty, a touch fruity. Body is quite light, easy to drink, and a touch slick with residual sweetness. It’s a tasty wheat, not outstanding or one of ST’s best mind you, but quite drinkable. robgibbens (432) - Gaithersburg, Maryland, USA - MAY 4, 2011
422 is a golden yellow clear ale. There is a good inch of foam on this one that sticks to the glass as it dissipates. There is a fruitiness malty aroma present. I can smell a hint of pear.
The taste is crisp and malty. There is a definite fruit flavor but not over-pronounced. You can feel the “wheatiness” but it is not as strong as it would be with a true Hefeweizen. The malt remains on the tongue and fades leaving a clean palate.
