Black with a beige head. Aroma-chocolate, coffee. Taste- amazingly delicious. The roasty stout, chocolate and coffee flavors combine perfectly. Finishes full bodied, sweet and just fantastic. davidm (2080) - Sunnyvale, California, USA - JUL 1, 2011
Bottle. Full marks, great imperial stout. Aromas of milky chocolate, vanilla, dark fruit, and rum. Taste is sweet, with bitter notes, and very long length. Palate is syrupy, and full bodied. Dark brown, with a consistent head. maxwelldeux (4374) - Snohomish, Washington, USA - JUN 24, 2012
Rated at Brew Bern 2012. This is perfection in a beer. The smell of it alone is one of the most amazing things I’ve ever had. The girlfriend nearly dumped me to marry this beer. The chocolate and coffee in this one was simple divine and was there in both aroma and taste. Bebum (1018) - Massachusetts, USA - SEP 2, 2012
American Double/Imperial Stout
11.2 % abv.
Almost opaque black, Dark coffee color.
Coffee nose, intense.
Unctuous malty style, but not cloying due to roast bitterness. Bitterness is almost entirely of roast malt origin, despite IPA in name. Well balanced, good length, full body, silky texture, visible alcohol like Tia Maria liqueur, but not overpowering. Medium length, delicious aftertaste, more chocolate than coffee.

Bottle at new years. All chocolate coffee nose, rich chocolate taste, bitter coffee, thick roasted taste, an outstanding beer.

Draft snifter at The BeerHive in Pittsburgh. A perfect score for the perfect beer. So satisfying and tasty good. This will be my new desert island dessert beer. katrinaez (2106) - norristown, Pennsylvania, USA - SEP 8, 2014
Has to be in my top lists. Sweet but not sickening. Rich combo of chocolate and coffee but not the same old- same old. Beersmithbacon (111) - San Luis Rey, California, USA - MAY 28, 2015
Another great tasting brew. Aroma of dark bitter chocolate and French roast coffee. Not to harsh bitterness as it was balance out by some milk chocolate finish. More coffe that some of their others which was A+++. PauliPux (5) - New York, New York, USA - JUN 2, 2015 does not count
This beer is extraordinary. Great flavor profile and mouth feel. Perfect compliment to a desert or just on its own after an excellent meal.
