4 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
A: The beer is jet black in color. It poured with a quarter finger high off white head that died down, leaving a bit of lacing on the surface and a collar around the edge of the glass.
S: Moderate aromas of pumpkin spices are present in the nose—nutmeg seems to stand out in particular along with hints of cinnamon.
T: The taste is similar to the smell and has lots of pumpkin spices, although the cinnamon seems a little stronger and there are also notes of pumpkins and hints of roasted malts. As the beer begins to warm up, the spices stand out in the finish.
M: It feels a bit more than medium-bodied and a little smooth on the palate with a moderate amount of carbonation. The pumpkin spices lend a little dryness in the finish.
O: This beer hides its alcohol rather well so it is relatively easy to drink, although my personal preference would be to have a little more pumpkins to balance with the spices.

UPDATED: OCT 8, 2017 Seriously cool. It smells like Halloween night and tastes like a pumpkin pie Stout. I really enjoyed this. Bamsen78 (5541) - Sønderborg, DENMARK - OCT 7, 2017
Bottle. Pours cloudy very dark brown with airy beige head. Clear aroma of malt, chocolate and yeast, with roasty hints. Sweetish flavour of chocolate and yeast and malt, with notes of hops and roast and mild touches of fruit. Estery and pumpkinlike aftertaste. Decent. willisread (3554) - Nashville, Tennessee, USA - SEP 21, 2017
Bottle from Craft Brewed. Pours a pitch, motor-oil black with a small head that dissipates almost instantly. Big pumpkin pie crust nose with a touch of dark chocolate. Some vanilla, allspice, clove and nutmeg as well. Sweet pumpkin puree on the palate with some hot booze. Could probably stand some aging I suppose. UPDATED: SEP 21, 2017 Quite a nice conglomeration of stout, pumpkin and pumpkin spice. Thick dark and nicely boozy with a heavenly vanilla perhaps a touch of rum type thing going on. Layered body and flavors particularly nutmeg. $5.99 a 12 ounce bottle? Lager43 (54) - Watertown, Connecticut, USA - JUL 18, 2017
Fresh pumpkin pie flavor. Smooth! Plus a rich malty backbone. A nice Fall treat while watching the foliage turn.

March 21, 2014 - with blankboy, gregclow, mabel and jercraigs - bomber. Deep and dark (clear) ruby with a small tan head. Smells like Pumking, but roastier - pumpkin spice, solid slightly vegetal malt - works for me! Taste is a palate-smash of pumpkin pie spice - too much and it detracts from some nice roast and charred graham wafers - hides the ABV though. Average body, astringent, finish is mostly just spice, really lingers. Still not bad. Lowe1983 (1621) - Dayton, Ohio, USA - JUN 29, 2017
Pours a black color with a tan head. Aroma is coffee, chocolate, roasted malts, and pumpkin. Flavor is very strong of the pumpkin and spices. Finishes with the chocolate, coffee, and roasted malts. chinchill (5226) - South Carolina, USA - JUN 21, 2017
22 oz bottle. 8.6% ABV.
Pours very dark, nearly opaque in the glass. Color: red-brown. Head: thin, tan semi-durable.
Aroma: spicy but more like spiced bread than pumpkin pie.
Flavor: well set level and mix of spicing allows the dark grains to shine. Lightly sweet with hints of roasted cashews, cinnamon, nutmeg and baked pumpkin. Balanced and harmonious.
Feel: smooth, full body with medium-light carbonation. Ronritter (874) - Blaine, Minnesota, USA - MAY 30, 2017

One of the best pumpkin beers out there! Sweet, malty, creamy. Crazy resemblance to a root beer (not literally).
