Dark copper to umber in color. Small lid of beige bubbles. Sweet caramel, with a hint of oak and light fruit (raisins and dates) in the aromas. Quite sweet with caramel, melon, and spices. Alcohol scents really come out after awhile. Sweet again as we ponder the flavors. Light oak and coconut wood in the finish. Heavy fruit cake. More dessert like. I could see this being soaked into a cake and some high proof rum and torched. 2/11

translucent amber, large bubbled cream head. Burnt sugar and cardboard nose screams oxidation, marmalade. Soft toffee candy front palate, plenty of sweetness and toffee through mid palate before sticky thin, boozy aged end.

With Z, pours a muddy brown color with an ephemeral head. Nose is sweet toffee and caramel with mild oak. Taste is rich in caramel and toffee with heavy oakiness. Taste is sweet, with caramel and oak as well with a moderately long finish . Fair at bests! Quaff Score 7 / 10
