22 ounce bottle. I know this has some age on it since I bought the bottle about a year ago, but I figured I’d drink it anyway since I had tried the Cuvée Series 1 and 2 in the past. Served in a snifter, the beer pours a hazy ruby red/amber color with about a half inch light tan head. Head retention and lacing are both decent enough. Aroma is sweet and malty, it smells like caramel, brown sugar, coconut, vanilla and some oak. Taste is similar to the aroma, but with the addition of some dark fruit and a slight medicinal flavor. Mouthfeel/body is medium/full, it’s syrupy and sticky with low carbonation. Overall I thought this was a solid brew, but I do wonder what it was like when fresh. $8.99 a bottle.

Bottle from Annie and on tap w/ annie at Kraftwork. We always think of this beer as a cherry belgian tasting pumking. There is no pumpkin in it but it was that same almost artificial vanilla flavor that the king has. Pours a full bodied bronze color with thick chestnut head and lacing that would not leave my glass. Aromas and taste are sweet malts, caramel, vanilla, cherry booze, oak, toffee, and other dark fruits. Good beer but it borders on cloying. Keep that overly sweet vanilla for the Pumpking ST.

Why does beer buddy not work some times? On tap at blue monk pours rich amber hie with small off white head. Nose is full of caramel, brown sugar, vanilla, and burnt sugar. Taste has these plus the additions of raisin and light oak. This is a treat. Full silky body. Yeah!!!!

Pours a dark amber color with a thin white head. Aroma of caramel, vanilla, toffee, and oak. Sweet dark fruit flavor with caramel, vanilla, and subtle hints of oak. Big alcohol. Very nice beer.

Pours clear deep bronze with a white head that disappears quickly. At first some vinous acidity comes to the nose, but that leaves as the head subsides. Sweet fruity aroma, candy. The flavor is very sweet. Vanilla and raisin. If this were just not so close to being cloying.

Bomber. Light caramel pour with a thin tan head. Aroma of hops and yeast with some caramel. Sticky, thick mouthfeel with a lasting alcohol finish.

22 ounce bottle that poured an amber color, aromas of biscuit, oak, caramel, dark fruit and toffee. Flavors same as aroma, but some funky alcohol at the end. Struggled to finish this one, big boozy flavors.

Tap flight at Bavarian Lodge. Toasted chestnut color with a khaki colored FILM for a head. It literally coats the glass. Pumpkin spice, jelly bean, and candy apple nose. Quite surprising aroma but very exotic and pleasing. Taste is pumpkin custard pie topped with agave nectar in a glass. I don’t like Southern Tier’s Pumking but this beer is delicious. Warning, it’s quite sweet but the battering hops do their job adequately. Definitely not a beer for after mowing your lawn, but Damn this is tasting good right now. Sweet, complex, and a pleasant surprise.

Was hesitant to try this due to lots of mediocre reviews. 22oz bomber shared with friends. Pours a redish brown and smells almost tart and fruity. Pretty intense taste, boozy, almost too boozy and I don’t get any oak at all. Still not bad, but not something I’d want again.

Pour out of 22 oz bottle, thanks to Aaron! Hazy red pour with thin to no white head, aroma brought notes of big dark fruits, caramel, toffee, big cocoa powder, hints of slight biscuit. Taste is a mix of caramel, dark fruit, big toffee, sweet sugary notes, slight candi sugar, touch of pine, finishing fairly sweet. Better, but very sweet.
