Going to try to rate more pilsners this summer...clean and refreshing - high cereal grainy flavor with a modest amount of hops. on par with troegs sunshine pils, but not as good as victory’s prima. a refreshing, flavorful pils. pretty good. glennmastrange (2859) - hobe sound, Florida, USA - JUN 7, 2012
Bottle. Light to moderate malt note of grain, light herbs for the hops with hints of pepper and paper. Head is small, fizzy, white with no lacing and is almost fully diminishing. Color is sparkling clear light amber. Flavor starts slightly sweet and lightly acidic, then finishes lightly acidic and bitter. Palate is light to medium, kind of slick with a soft to lively carbonation and lightly dry finish. Not so big on the plain old Pilseners, but it is quite drinkable with some nice aspects. Bottle. Frothy white fair mostly deminishing head. Yellow colour. Light malty and hoppy aroma. Moderate bitter nice flavor. Average moderate bitter finish. Oily palate. 17thfloor (2443) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - OCT 7, 2012
Pours a hazy yellow with little head. Aroma is a bit stale, grainy, fruity. Flavor follows with an odd sweetness, stale for sure, some apple and a bit floral. Would certainly like to try this fresher as it seems to have an excellent body and carbonation.
