Pour Hop Sun Summer Wheat Beer into a pint glass, give it a long whiff and you’ll realize that this isn’t your average wheat beer. Filtered to a golden clarity and dry-hopped to perfection, Hop Sun is a fantastic session ale in which flavors of wheat, barley and hops co-mingle to a refreshing and zesty conclusion. Hints of lemon and sweet malts waft to the fore as a touch of bitterness contributes to Hop Sun’s bright finish. Enjoy Hop Sun all summer long as a perfect balance to your outdoor recreation. Summer never tasted so good.

Good beer with nice wheat qualities, a slight hop and hints of lemon and orange. Nice but not Jonathan’s favorite.

Nice head with a golden color. Tastes smooth but highly average Easy to drink but nothing to write home about. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

A light unobtrusive summery wheat ale that strikes a balance between grainy cereal flavors and mild citrus. A little tart, a little sweet, and a lot quenching. Pours a drab cloudy yellow with only a nip of head. A tight bubbled carbonation keeps things airy.

gripweed57 (2861) - Hamilton Square, New Jersey, USA - MAY 20, 2017
12 ounce bottle. Pours a hazy honey gold color topped by a large rocky white head. Fragrant sweet citrus malt nose. Tart citrus malt flavor. Notes of wheat, lemon, white bread, yeast and grassy hops. Light and refreshing.

drsandman (1619) - New York, USA - APR 23, 2017
Pours light pale yellow gold. Aroma is grain, straw, light lemongrass. Light grain, sweet malt, grass.

HourGlass13 (1042) - North Carolina, USA - APR 15, 2017
Pours up a straw hue with a fizzy white head that dissipated to a ring. Aroma is lime, grassy, grapefruit, slight cereal. Refreshing medium body and sharp carbonation. Taste is a little sweet, with a bitter following that lingers through the finish.

matty (446) - Pennsylvania, USA - JUL 20, 2016
12 oz. bottle. Pours a clear gold color with a brief white head. Aroma is mostly wheat, a little hoppy and tart. Medium-light body, taste is kind of plain, a little bit of hop flavor, some citrus comes through and just a touch of tartness at the end. Overall, not bad.

Nickls (2607) - Alexandria, Virginia, USA - JUL 18, 2016
Bottle. Hazy light gold. Some dusty faded citrus hops and light wheat in aroma and flavor. Bleh, is this old?! Dusty, candy, some citrus hops. Lighter medium chalky body.

malrubius (3017) - Springfield, Vermont, USA - JUL 8, 2016
Bottle from Julios. Clear gold with white head and lace. Mild spicy aroma with some bready and honey. Sweet malty honey nuts toast with mild herbal fairly dry finish. Light body refreshing carbo. Wheat ale is probably the worst beer style, but if I had to have one, this wouldn’t be too bad.
