COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
We rely on age-old tools in the brewery despite being surrounded by high technology. As a sort of compass, we use the six pointed brewer’s star to help navigate uncharted brews. The cardinal points of water, malt, grain, yeast, hops and a brewer make the baseline. From there anything goes. Sometimes the journey is as important as the destination.

You’ll notice a slight bitterness in Compass derived from our use of rose hips accentuated by high effervescence. Drink it cold from a fluted or tulip glass. And by all means, avoid sea serpents.

Pours hazy gold with a thin white head. Fruit, yeast and peppery spice but somehow now quite as good as that sounds.

Hazy golden colour brew with a white creamy head, good retention and lots of lacing. Fruity grain aromas with some oranges, light tropical fruits and very mild grass. Very well-hidden alcohol, so smooth. Flavours of mildly sweet fruits with light sugars. The cereal grains are really in the background and some nice mild bitterness is left in the finish. A very nice refreshing strong ale. Very well-balanced. 9.0 ABV. Really ??

Bottle - 660ml. Cloudy golden body with a thin, fading white foamy head. Very enjoyable hoppy aroma with mango, orange, cherry, and yeasty hints. Alcohol is very well hidden. Its fresh, very well balanced hoppy taste carries malty, citrusy, herbal, and honeyish notes. Ends with a sharp bitter/yeasty finish. Very good.

Aroma is underripe tropical fruit, herbs and vanilla. Mouthfeel is crisp. Taste has notes of mango, white tea, white peppercorn, cream and white plum. Finish is yeasty.

22 oz - Golden color, good lace. I don’t get it. What’s new and different? Unremarkable.

Honey gold with foamy white head. Perfumey nose. Taste- Belgian malt, floral and fruity with a dry, champagne-like mouthfeel. Some warming alcohol as we'll. Nice Imperial Belgian Ale. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Pours a cloudy yellow with not much head. Faint fruity aromas but fairly weak. Flavor has a decent malty base with some fruitiness that permeates throughout as well as some grapefruit and yeast. The alcohol is also masked very well and I don’t get much of a warming sensation after it goes down. Probably would warrant a higher score from me, but the sweetness is just a tad too much. Solid offering though.

Listigovers (1204) - Toronto, Ontario, CANADA - NOV 23, 2014
Aroma is floral hops, banana spices. Fairly strong aroma. Very nice golden pour with a large white head, slightly cloudy. Very carbonated, grape, slightly hot, grainy. Intense beer, spiced and slightly bitter, good.

Bomber shared by Scott. Golden with a white head. Big fruity aroma. The flavour is a touch to sweet which reduces drink ability. Pretty nice beer, doesn’t come across as a Belgian ale at all.
