22 oz bottle for 10 bucks. Pours black with a brown head. Aroma is a little fruity, mostly oats and chocolate. Taste is oats up front with a lasting chocolate flavor on the end. Reminds me of taking a bite out of a chocolate bar. Really nice. Body is medium, lighter than I was expecting. Texture is creamy. This one is a knock out of the park. There is no alcohol in the taste to speak, and it is very smooth and easy to drink. Definitely has a strong aroma and taste of oats. There is a mild alcohol taste but it’s not overwhelming.

I love oatmeal stouts and was excited for this beer. Pour appears disappointingly thin bodied but I certainly approve of the impenetrable black color and brown creamy head that is quick to dissipate. Smells like raisins and alcohol, reminds me of the crème brule stout minus the sugary flavors. My afraid based off the smell that the alcohol wont be well hidden it is 10.8%. Not so bad, does taste mostly like raisins with a bitter caramel malt. Alcohol taste is moderate, carbonation is kind of heavy, some complexity. Dark, thick pour from a bomber bottle with about an inch and a half of tan head. Mainly oats, as the name suggests, on the nose. As it warms it loses bitterness and develops bold vanilla middle and raisin finish. Can taste a little alcohol on the finish. Bottle in Craft Brixton. Opaque black almost no head. This looks oily and has a fairly high viscosity. Nose is very alcoholic, lots of dark ripe fruit, plums and prunes and its very sweet and sugary. Taste is very sweet. Getting lots of prune, ripe dark fruit, lots of sugar. I’m finding it a bit too cloying. Oily and syrupy in the mouth.
