12 oz bottle served in an Anchor Steam pint glass [from Dec. 2012 notes).
Pours an orange-amber; about as orange as any beer I’ve seen lately. The off-white head is modest in dize but has decent retention and leaves some lacing. Has a noticeable amount of suspended sediment than eventually settles to the bottom of the glass.
Aroma: very fruity, with hints of earthy spiciness and caramel
Taste: fruity flavor, mainly but not exclusively citrus, with plenty of earthy spiciness and a moderate, piney hop hit mid-sip that carries intop the finish and beyond. Malt flavor is present but in the background. The bitterness of the sizable hop load is clearly tempered by the mix of 4 types of malts.
Medium-thin body with adequate carbonation.
O: a very enjoyable and unusally complex Amer. IPA. Recommended! Caytinator (1005) - Waco, Texas, USA - JAN 27, 2015
Light amber color, light lacing, small head, good carbonation. Strong, good aroma. Quality brew, very bitter, quality hops--for the hopheads, goes well with salty foods.

Hoppy juicy flavor Delma 12 oz bottle at home. Clear orange. Hoppy and pleasant. Would do this guy again radio_nowhere (1474) - Maryland, USA - JAN 9, 2015
Bottle into tulip glass; amber-golden color, some sediment dust, with creamy off-white head. Aroma of pine/citrus hops, light floral note and bready malt sweetness. Taste adds notes of biscuit malt and woody spruce/tropical fruity hop bitterness. Medium-low body, low carbonation, dry, creamy with pine/fruity bitter finish. Solid east coast style IPA. Nitro version on tap at Proof Brewing Co. 1/9/14. Welllll, since it is a nitro, I have to wait a solid 5 minutes just for the cup of foam to finish settling and reveal a full beer.... still waiting..... FINALLY!!! A: Deep golden orange, with a thick cream head that smothers the rim of the cup. S: Floral, citrus, herbs, fish, grass, typical IPA smell. T: Licked the foam, because I could, and it provided a thick film of metal flavor. Instant taste of sweet vanilla, metal -coin like- bitterness, wheat, continues to become more dry and bitter. Not overwhelming but no distinct flavor as well. Could be altered by the fact that I just ate Chipotle peanuts (oops). O: I’ve had better IPAs that contain a more definite flavor but this is still easy to drink. The nitro aspect makes it smoother than what an average IPA would offer.

Pours a lightly hazy golden orange with a small frothy white head. Aroma of citrus, pine, grapefruit, spruce tips and sweet caramel malts. Taste is pine, citrus hops, grapefruit and spruce. Complex flavor with a smooth bitterness that?s lightly astringent on the finish. andrewturba (1190) - Alberta, CANADA - JAN 4, 2015
Pours a hazy copper with a small white head and a touch of lace. Aroma is pine, resin, tropical fruits, citrus, lightly spicy and some malty notes. Flavour is resin, citrus, pine, medium to high sharp bitterness that’s kinda harsh but not bad and doesn’t linger too much, mild alcohol, kinda grainy, and a nice dry finish. Pretty tasty. coachd (971) - Missouri, USA - JAN 1, 2015
Good hoppy/sweet aroma. Light colored with a huge white head that leaves a lot of lacing. Tastes great. Just enough hop bitterness, and that comes through at the very end of each taste. The palate is thick for the style - not watery, very well done.

Very body dominated beer with bitterness and sweetness in the aftertaste. Nicely balanced and different from the hop dominated IPAs. SinH4 (6552) - Garching b. München, GERMANY - DEC 31, 2014
Beautiful orange appearance with big white head. Aroma, first impression: So American. Pines and malt. Taste is sweet and juicy, more of the nice residual sweetness and bitterness. A nice benchmark East Coast IPA, not much space for critique here. But then again it’s not too distinct.
