Cloudy amber with white fastly disapearing cap. Rich sour taste with strong malty notes. LKay (160) - Maryland, USA - MAR 16, 2013
Hoppy, smooth classic IPA taste. Great freaking beer. Love it. Celebrating St. Patrick's Day with Southern Tier. Evolutionary (513) - Ohio, USA - AUG 9, 2013
Nitro tap at mellow mushroom. Pours thick and great head that lasts forever. Nose is pure hop and a bit of sweetness. Smooth as butter with the nitro and 7.3% to boot. Near perfect blend of hop bitterness and citrus sweetness. Nitro does well here.

This is my current favorite IPA. A wonderful citrus/pine aroma greets you before the hop attack. Not overly bitter, but it lets you know it’s an IPA in no uncertain terms. Smooth finish and pairs well with spicy foods.

UPDATED: OCT 8, 2016 Bottle. Full hoppy aroma and flavors. Very smooth, unlike many of the current IPAs, which are too punchy, too bitter, or too citrusy. Hits all the right notes. About as good as it gets for an IPA out of a bottle. thehinge (296) - Nederland, Colorado, USA - JAN 26, 2008
12 oz. bottle. Clear orange pour with a quickly dissipating white head. A little lacing here. Caramel aroma. Citrus and caramel notes in the front end. Mild hop finish. Excellent example of the style. Mattmcc42 (11) - - SEP 21, 2012
One of my favorites. Hoppy, but balanced nicely. The alcohol content is just right at 7.3 %. vgneric (5) - Lockport, New York, USA - OCT 6, 2012 does not count
A great everyday beer. Hoppy, good malt balance, a good alcohol warmth, and very drinkable. Pine with hints of apple. Bulk_Carrier (6065) - Vermont, USA - FEB 7, 2013
It poured a deep cloudy orange and gave the same color body. A beautiful half inch white head forms and lasts for a good minute before gently dieing into the body. Nice ringy foamy spider web lacing speckles the sides and clings to the pint glass. The smell has strong tones of pine, citrus and hops. There are some slight malts coming out as the beer warms. The taste takes the previously mentioned smells and gives more of a earthiness to it. I like it. The palate is about a medium and feels great on the tongue. Overall, this is an excellent choice of an American IPA. I didn’t think I would like this one as much, but this is solid for me and its style.
