Best light pale ale ever....so drinkable. Delicious and hoppy. Not to bitter -just perfect!

Love the drink-ability and balance. Best pale ale on the market. I will buy this over and over again. Draft coming soon I hear. Tobyrando (41) - New York, USA - DEC 17, 2014
Single best pale ale on the market, in my opinion. Lively carbonation, highly aromatic, citrusy hop profile. If they rebranded this a "session IPA" I bet this would sell huge. PauliPux (5) - New York, New York, USA - DEC 22, 2014 does not count
UPDATED: MAY 2, 2015 LIVE is hands down the best damn pale ale out there. An excellent alternative to the myriad of indistinguishable session IPAs flooding the market. You can drink this all day long but not sacrifice flavor and taste. So many of the sessions have just comprised the hell out of their beers to get the ABV down. At a little over 5% this is definitely the way to go. grundsow (130) - Pennsylvania, USA - OCT 25, 2016
Crisp & clean, simple & uncomplicated hops. And the right amount of alcohol to boot - a perfect beer.

Nailed it. Draft pour. Pours a clear copper with a white head. The aroma is softly fruity and has a touch of sweet tart to it. Maybe also fruity pebbles. Taste is sweet and fruity with a bready finish. Light body and medium carbonation. Really nice beer. airrick2003 (872) - Louisiana, USA - OCT 27, 2013
UPDATED: FEB 12, 2014 Appearance: pours with an average gold color, very large and very dense head, head is off white, has slight haze to it Aroma: grass, pine, hoppy, intensely aromatic, citrus Taste: grass, pine, hints of malty grain backbone, bitter, amazing hop character Palate: lively carbonation, leaves bitter aftertaste, some froth feeling, lighter mouthfeel, leaves mouth feeling moist Overall: this is a very well executed pale ale, probably one of the best ones I’ve had, strong hop flavors, very light malt hints, delicious ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone MarkSachon (1023) - Pennsylvania, USA - NOV 30, 2014
12 oz bottle from Giant Eagle in Pittsburgh. All the superlatives apply here. For an IPA, this was quite enjoyable and wasn’t ruined by the usual hop nonsense so many IPA’s are subject to in their ruination.

UPDATED: OCT 6, 2013 Pours hazy oily orange with a white head. Smells of grapefruit and pine. Taste is quite bitter and piney. Medium-bodied with a smooth texture and soft mouth-carbonation, Southern Tier Live finishes with a lingering bitterness. bgb1991 (131) - AUSTRALIA - APR 19, 2014
UPDATED: DEC 10, 2014 Fresh baked zuchinni bread smell. The most vibrant colour I have seen in a pale ale, golden with superb clarity. Taste is simple. Simple but amazing. Citrus, a bit of spice, balanced malt. This beer is almost identical to a Hop Zombie! Delicious!
