Tap at RNH. Pours a deep woody brown nearing black with a nice lasting foamy sticky beige head- lace is good. Aroma is pine, citrus, grass, mint light nutty earthy hint and slight roast. Flavor is light earthy leather roast, nuts, clean grapefruit, pine, citrus, grass, mint. Finish is nice bitter and clean. Pretty solid- straightforward and clean. Didnt realize this was 4.6%- had a pretty good flavor for such low alcohol. murphym45 (769) - New York, New York, USA - DEC 11, 2010
On tap @ Rattle N Hum.
Brown with some off white head. Grassy hop aroma with some toasted malts and smoke. You get some hop up front on the palate but it finishes dry and malty with a light bitterness. Smooth and well balanced. A solid beer. Pwn3d (1962) - Manhattan, New York, USA - DEC 9, 2010
On tap at rattle n hum. Pour is black with little head. Toasty, sharp, hoppy. A nice offering, not something I would consider very southern tiery. Ontbeertaster (2362) - Ontario, CANADA - NOV 30, 2010
