Snifter on tap. Aroma is caramel and strong vanilla. Pours black with a quickly dissipating head. Taste is sweet, almost cloying. Strong taste of alcohol and oakiness. I usually love imperial stouts. This one... not so much. AlmostHome (70) - Gulfport, Mississippi, USA - MAR 3, 2017
Different kind of beer. Quite sweet. I like it. Actually very reminiscent of creamer brûlée. Which is a surprise. Would buy again.

Awesome beer. I was pleasantly surprised. It was suggested to mix it 1:3 with the southern tier Pumpking! Separate it is great, together they are awesome!

Draft pour at sugar maple in Milwaukee. Dark. Smells like a pile of melted Carmel. Massive flavor. Has a gasoline aftertaste. Wow. nuplastikk (6414) - Madison, Wisconsin, USA - MAY 18, 2013
Tap at Sugar Maple. Huge dessert flavors, oak just fills it out to 110%. Sweet huge vanilla chocolate tones, this is a world class dessert beer all the way. The oak is pretty incorporated, just giving it more vanilla. Ridiculous.
