2.8 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Clear copper color. Light tan head disapates quickly. Aroma of fresh cut wood, floral hops. Taste is straight up bitter. Seems really unbalanced. Different, yet I don’t drink many old ales to compare. Not my thing.
Twelve ounce bottle. Pours a dark amber with small off-white creamy head, roasted malt aroma, a bit burnt like roasted malt taste, thin body, sbryant11 (11) - - NOV 6, 2017

pours dark reddish brown with white head. the aroma is citrus, spices, some alcohol. The flavor is malty, with roastyness, small hints of some seasonal spices with earthiness and slight citrus finishes sweet and caramel. the body is light with bitterness throughout. Overall very pleasant to drink nice to have on a cold day. brigg (708) - New York, USA - DEC 29, 2016
(Bottle) Slightly hazy, dull reddish copper body with minimal beige head. Heavy malt aroma, caramel, with underlying fruity-floral and pine notes. Medium to heavy body, not much carbonation; sticky. Caramel malt flavor, moderately sweet, dry-ish hop finish.

Old malt vibe and lots of caramel. Some tobacco and old leather. Light roast. Brown pour. Sweet and mash malt finish. Light spices. Bottle N3lson1 (1010) - Long Valley, New Jersey, USA - AUG 11, 2016
Drank from a pint glass, poured from a large bottle. Pours a nice dark coppery color with nice fluffy head. Great aromas from the malt bill on this guy, not overpowering on the spice aroma. This beer is nice and smooth, but has a nice complex kick to it! Cheers! beerplace (2032) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - MAY 22, 2016
355ml bottle. Pours a hazy amber with a white head. Aroma is malty, dark fruits. Taste is not very pleasant: caramel malt and some hoppy bitterness. Roasted malt afteraste. Probably spoiled. Cajun (541) - Lafayette, Louisiana, USA - MAR 27, 2016
12oz bottle - Poured a medium brown with a white head...thinned quickly. I got a whiff of caramel, toasted nuts, and something earthy. First sip was a mixture of skunky water and malt. But it got better with detection of some spice and biscuit with a dark malt...then a bitter herb finish.
