Bottled. A hazy amber beer with a thin beige head. The aroma is sweet mlaty with light notes of nuts and fruit. The flavor is rather sweet with strong notes of spices, alcohol, and fruit, I cant pick out the spices. The alcohol burns slightly on the palate, when I drank it I guessed it at 8.5% ABV, which is a bit more than it actually is.

(Bottle 35,5 cl) Courtesy of pineypower. Clear, warm, amber golden with an off-white head. Fresh, hoppy and lightly citrusy nose. Quite full-bodied with sweet notes of caramel and perhaps a floral touch. Theres a solid bitternes in the finish with also quite some alcohol bite. Solid alright. 171107

Bottled. Clear reddish brown, fairly small head. Fruity and soapy with grapefruity mangoish hop aroma. Sweet with clean, rounded mouthfeel. Heavy on crystal malt. Mildly resiny finish with lasting strong bitterness. Solid and warming, if a little bit unpolished.

Draft at Paradiso Georgetown. Amber color, white head, massive lacing. Too heavily spiced, lots of nutmeg. Strange.

Tap at Rattle n Hum. Loved it. Pours a light brown with fine, white head. Nose is sweet malts and some piney hops. Up front the flavor is very malty, with notes of caramel and spice, and then subsides in a more hoppy, citrusy direction. Sweet and, at once, mildly bitter. Medium in body. Crisp finish with a little hop bite. A really interesting Winter beer that seems to blend styles, and blend them well.
