Tasted on 11/24/13 from a capped 650mL bomber bottle. Pours opaque dark brown with an average tan head that slowly recedes to average lace. The nose is pretty straight-forward dark chocolate and coffee porter with a very light fruity, almost vinous note. The flavor follows suit with standard porter characteristics dominating and just a light hint of fruit on the back end. The body is medium to full with average carbonation and a long dark coffee and dark chocolate finish with just a tinge of fruit. KnutAlbert (6771) - Oslo, NORWAY - NOV 24, 2013
On tap at Schouskjelleren. Cola color, fruit, roastd grain bordering on smoky. Well balanced, pleasant. ROBC3366 (148) - north reading, Massachusetts, USA - NOV 23, 2013
Pours a dark black with light tan head. Smells of plum and roasted chocolate and tastes like plum up front finishing with chocolate. Extremely well done.

Pretty badass beer at Amerasia. Palate is out of this world silky smooth. The plum really comes out in the taste. ryanscourt (1518) - Latrobe, Pennsylvania, USA - NOV 23, 2013
Don’t really eat or drink plums so not entirely sure what I’m looking for. Porter but has a fruity sweet smell. Tastes sweet up front but dark chocolate finishe makes you want to repeat the process

Strong malt with a light amount of fruit and Belgian yeast. Very dark amber color with a meduim tan head. Moderate malt beginning with a sweet finish. Palate is light for a porter. beersorcerer (52) - Armpit of the Panhandle, Florida, USA - NOV 16, 2013
22oz bottle from Proof
Roasty malt scent with some raisin and a faint whiff of plum/fruit at the end.
Reddish brown color and a little beige head that quickly dissipated.
Malt coffee toast taste, mild raisin fruit center with a small hop alcohol finish.
Overall good, but expected more on the fruit side. r464 (2362) - Earth, Pennsylvania, USA - NOV 14, 2013
Dark brown with a medium tan head. Smooth and full, slightly roasty with nice malt and a light sweetness from the plums. Toast, coffee, and earthiness. Mouthfeel is not at all thin, very nice for a stronger porter. 5000 (6862) - Hardened Liver, Washington, USA - NOV 11, 2013
Bottle:   Deep dark cola in color, thin to moderate sandy head, spotty lacing.   Odd roasted malt aroma.   Perhaps Italian plums smell like sweat and old bread?   Somewhat sweet on the tongue, roasty, perhaps faint plum, but also a little coffee and toasted bread.   Body and mouthfeel are moderate.   A touch ashy on the finish.   This one could stand to be heavier.   Twas clean, but the nose isn’t all that alluring.   Yeah, needs to be more chewy to be considered an Imperial Porter, in my opinion. a new treat from the blackwater series. This black porter offered a half inch head poured from the bottle. Aromas gave a hit of roast and earth but there was the faint plum as well. A unique fruitiness that reminded me of black plums with slight tart aroma. Taste was mostly mild coffee but again finished with the fruit brightness. Good even mouth feel that made it feel more light than its 8.5%abv. a good thing to share but i could have had it all to myself easy.
