Pours rather light in color with a thin head. Not much mouthfeel for an "imperial" pumpkin ale. Sort of a funky aftertaste. I was somewhat disappointedas I expected better from this brand which has some really good beers.
bottled - cloudy orange color. Great pumpkin aroma. Sweet pumpkin flavor. Good stuff. shawnmurphy (667) - Plattsburgh, New York, USA - DEC 3, 2017
12-ounce bottle pours clear orange-gold with a tiny spritz of off-white head and the tiniest bit of lacing. Aroma: caramel, faint pumpkin pie spices. Flavor: malt-forward (caramel, butterscotch), cinnamon nutmeg, allspice and vanilla with a finishing spicy bitterness. Mouthfeel: full-bodied; slick on tongue; egg nog creaminess. 2011er vintage bottle from my cellar. Smooth mild nose. The beer starts mild and smooth, round and refreshing. Easy to drink, mild and fruity. Long smooth and mild refreshing aftertaste. Sessionable and mild. Nice! Light with lots of pumpkin. Beerhunter111 (23281) - Beerland, GERMANY - NOV 24, 2017
Bottle shared with Erzengel! A almost clear dark golden beer with a small off-white head. Aroma of cinnamon, dry spices, pumpkin. Taste of sweet cinnamon, pumpkin, red malt, herbs, low bitterness. GlasgowTAD (2007) - Glasgow, SCOTLAND - NOV 17, 2017
Bottle thanks to Ben. Pours clear copper with a little white head which soon recedes. Aroma is pumpkin, spice and a bit of hay aroma. Taste is pumpkin spice, harsh spice bitterness and not much else going on.

Pours light orange golden and mostly translucent. Tastes of spices, nutmeg, Brown sugar, cinnamon and pumpkin. It has a resinous, medium to full bodied palate with moderate carbonation. It’s spicy and dry. A big spice/herb/vegetable beer with a cinnamon and brown sugar finish. MrTipple (7004) - London, Greater London, ENGLAND - OCT 28, 2017
Intense pumpkin spices, vanilla, cloves, nutmeg, molasses, honey. Clear gold, small, creamy, white head. Light sweet. More pumpkin spices, cloves, nutmeg, sweet grain and bread malts, caramel, molasses, soft carbonation, medium bodied. Very nice Pumpkin Ale, rich and intense. Bottle from Milk & Hops Astor, Manhattan. Troupis (280) - - OCT 27, 2017
Lots added at the end of the process makes this not work for me. The underlying beer is actually really strong.
Great aroma and robust flavor.
