COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Pumking is an ode to Púca, a creature of Celtic folklore, who is both feared and respected by those who believe in it. Púca is said to waylay travelers throughout the night, tossing them on its back, and providing them the ride of their lives, from which they return forever changed. Brewed in the spirit of All Hallows Eve, a time of the year when spirits can make contact with the physical world and when magic is most potent. Pour Pumking into a goblet and allow it’s alluring spirit to overflow. As spicy aromas present themselves, let it’s deep copper color entrance you as your journey into this mystical brew has just begun. As the first drops touch your tongue a magical spell will bewitch your taste buds making it difficult to escape the Pumking.

Yum. 2010 22oz. Aroma of those buttered popcorn jellybeans(ringwood yeast?)Pumpkin pie spices. The buttered popcorn dominates. Tasty, a lil sweet, very smooth though I did put this bottle in between about 500 sacred G posters which really does alter the experience of life in general. Great beer. Hard to find because it sells out so quickly. An Imperial example of the style. Best Pumpkin beer I’ve had.

12-ounce bottle pours clear orange-gold with a tiny spritz of off-white head and the tiniest bit of lacing. Aroma: caramel, faint pumpkin pie spices. Flavor: malt-forward (caramel, butterscotch), cinnamon nutmeg, allspice and vanilla with a finishing spicy bitterness. Mouthfeel: full-bodied; slick on tongue; egg nog creaminess.

2011er vintage bottle from my cellar. Smooth mild nose. The beer starts mild and smooth, round and refreshing. Easy to drink, mild and fruity. Long smooth and mild refreshing aftertaste. Sessionable and mild. Nice! Light with lots of pumpkin.

Pours light orange golden and mostly translucent. Tastes of spices, nutmeg, Brown sugar, cinnamon and pumpkin. It has a resinous, medium to full bodied palate with moderate carbonation. It’s spicy and dry. A big spice/herb/vegetable beer with a cinnamon and brown sugar finish.

More pumpkin spices, cloves, nutmeg, sweet grain and bread malts, caramel, molasses, soft carbonation, medium bodied. Very nice Pumpkin Ale, rich and intense. Lots added at the end of the process makes this not work for me. The underlying beer is actually really strong. Great aroma and robust flavor. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

12 ounce bottle shared. First of all I love this beer. I look for it every year. Scent of spices. Bronze in color. Taste the pumpkin and some spices like nutmeg. Pretty smooth for the 8.6 alcohol. Overall this is an awesome pumpkin beer.
