Pours out pale gold color with a tiny white head. Big raspberry aroma. Strong raspberry on the palate, almost an artificial raspberry taste. Tolerable on a hot summer day, but thats about it.

bottle. overpowering raspberry smell, golden, clear, aminimal head. I was excited for this beer. has the cough syrup taste associated with flavored beer. label claims its brewed with raspberries.

12 oz bottle. Poured a very thin golden/straw color with a small fizzy white head, except for being a little to dark looked alomst like a macro. Aroma was lots of artificial raspberries with some hops and malts but no detectable wheat. Palate is harsh with lots of carbonation and flavor is mainly raspberry. Macro drinkers might like it for the raspberry flavor but for the more experienced drinker this one is a let down.

on tap at the spuyten duyvil brooklyn. clear very pale yellow gold color, little to no head - white ring around the glass. aroma is sweet raspberry. flavor is pretty straightforward dryish wheat malt, a bit tangy, and lots of dry raspberry. very high carbonation. dry aftertaste and still more raspberry.

bottle...macro-looking body (golden with minimal carbonation and no head)..aroma is of strong raspberry and wet hay..flavor is heavy in bread and wheat, and is mildly earthy..small raspberry notes here...thin palate

tagz (337) - Alabama, USA - JUL 11, 2007
bottle. clear light golden with minimal head. flavor is malty biscuit with light bitter finish. the raspberry aroma and flavor has an artificial character and overwhelms the taste. reminds me of aspartame or some artificial sweetener. a sub-par fruit beer for sure.

Bottle. Ultra-clear amber with a medium head. Aroma of raspberries and light-sweet malt. It tastes like my wifes favorite beer, I imagine.

muzzlehatch (4951) - Beloit, Wisconsin, USA - JUL 9, 2007
12 ounce bottle from Beers of the World in Rochester, NY (June 2007), served from a Unibroue glass at just slightly above fridge temperature. Pours a pale, quite clear gold with very little head and no retention or lacing to talk about....pretty typical fruit-lite nose, hints of wheaty sourness but all in all like a watery soda....aaaaaand guess what this impression pretty much carries through in the flavor department, though some nice biscuity malt and a touch of tartness save it a bit; the fruit seems pretty artificial, dry and dessicated....mouthfeel is ok, body isnít as thin as I might expect. Still, Iím about to give up on this brewery; a few really solid products, but most of what Iíve had lately could have been made by just anybody.

stegosaurus (1882) - Levittown, Pennsylvania, USA - JUL 2, 2007
Bottle sampled. Pours golden with a decent size white head. Aroma of raspberries, grain, and hops. The flavor is raspberry, citrus, slight sweetness upfront, and finishes lightly bitter.

ElJefe (553) - Rochester, New York, USA - JUL 1, 2007
Pale straw colored with a quickly dissipating thin white head. Aroma dominated by sweet raspberry and a bit of biscuit erases my hopes that this might be on the tart side. Flavor, as expected, is mostly sweet raspberries, a touch of biscuity malt, and a very small amount of hops bitterness detectable on the back of the throat in the finish. Decent enough, but as Shadey said, we all know the demographic they are going after with this one.
