12 ounce bottle into pint glass, bottled on 1/4/2017. Pours fairly hazy/cloudy reddish/pinkish orange/amber color with a 1 finger dense light pink head with good retention, that reduces to a small cap that lingers. Light spotty soapy lacing clings on the glass, with a fair amount of streaming carbonation retaining the cap. Aromas of juicy/lightly tart raspberries, lemon, orange, pear, apple, light pepper/clove, wheat, cracker, biscuit, herbal, grass, and yeast earthiness. Nice and pleasant aromas with good balance and complexity of raspberries, fruity/spicy yeast, and pale/wheat malt notes; with solid strength. Taste of juicy/lightly tart raspberries, lemon, orange, pear, apple, light pepper/clove, wheat, cracker, biscuit, herbal, grass, and yeast earthiness. Light balanced fruit tartness, yeast spiciness, herbal/grassy bitterness, and wheat tang on the finish. Lingering notes of raspberries, lemon, orange, pear, apple, light pepper/clove, wheat, cracker, biscuit, herbal, grass, and yeast earthiness on the finish for a good bit. Nice robustness, complexity, and balance of raspberries, fruity/spicy yeast, and pale/wheat malt flavors; with a nice malt/tart/bitter/spiciness balance, and zero cloying flavors after the finish. Lightly increasing dryness from bitter/tart/spiciness. Medium carbonation and light-medium body; with a very smooth, moderately creamy/bready/grainy, and slightly sticky/acidic mouthfeel that is nice. Zero warming alcohol as expected of 4.6%. Overall this is a nice fruited witbier style. All around good robustness, complexity, and balance of raspberries, fruity/spicy yeast, and pale/wheat malt flavors; very smooth and refreshing to drink with the mildly tart/bitter/spicy/drying finish. Very flavorful and never watery feeling for the low ABV. Very well balanced between all flavor components. A nicely enjoyable offering, and well made style example. Draft at Screamen Eagle with A&E, B&E, F&T and PJ. Pours a deep reddish pink with lots of haze and thick white lacing. Nose is tart raspberry, sour wheat and soap. Mouthfeel is medium bodied with notes of sour berry fruits, tart wheat and soft lactose. FROTHINGSLOSH (8201) - GREENSBURG, Pennsylvania, USA - JUL 30, 2017
Sampled from a 12 oz brown bottle this beer poured a murky salmon-tan color with a large soapy pink-white head that left minimal lacing. The aroma was sweetish raspberry syrup and a bit of mustiness. The flavor was tart yet sweet raspberry syrup, cracker, a bit of mustiness, sugar and a slight astringency. Long finish. Medium body. Ok. BeerdedDave (1911) - Beckley, USA - JUN 24, 2017

Rotes bier schaum ok, Geruch etwas Himbeeren leicht seifig, etwas wässrig im Geschmack Himbeere etwas säure etwas herb, nicht ganz überzeugend Kleg (423) - The Beach, Florida, USA - MAR 26, 2017
Opaque cranberry colored pour with a small light pink head and fair retention. Minimal lacing. Very crisp mouthfeel. The berry flavor tastes artificial and smothers the wheat base. Like a bad shandy. Meh. crossovert (14038) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - MAR 25, 2017

355ml bottle. Hazed pink/red pour. Aroma of raspberry and wheat. Flavor is tart and refreshing, not much sweetness, great.
Post tasting thoughts:
This is one of the better fruit beers I’ve had in a while, a good take on a style that has fallen off significantly.
