On tap at the 5-17 brewery public day (Was called Project Z). Poured a dark brown, no head or lacing. Aroma was in your face with chocolate notes, raspberry, dark fruits, small amount of coffee and bit of bourbon. Taste followed the nose and tasted like chocolate covered raspberries. Like the description, a tad sour on the finish and very good. I really enjoyed this. DocJitsu (1972) - Pensacola, Florida, USA - JUN 2, 2013
Pours an opaque dark brown with a vibrant mocha colored head. Sweet molasses and tart fruit on the nose. Mouth coating, yet relatively thin mouthfeel. Flavors of tobacco, tart fruit, and oak. No alcohol warmth at all. thome50 (1294) - Morro Bay via Orange County, California, USA - JUN 1, 2013
On tap at FWIBF. Pours a hazy black with big tan head. Aroma is raspberry, blueberry and sour notes with a mild dark chocolate kick in there. Taste is fruit first, some chocolate, finished with a great sour. This is an awesome sour stout. Could drink a 10oz pour of this which I could never say about most big beers at this ABV and viscosity.
