bomber shared with a few good friends, drunk from a shaker. Wow amazing deep roasted chocolate taste with a toasted marshmallow in the finish. Dark oily deep flavors. Cannot believed the alcohol is 10%. Wow Damn good beer would buy and drink again. Another home run fall beer from Southern Tier!

I poured it from the bottle into a glass. It pours black and brown with some tan head and lacing. The aroma is pumpkin, vanilla, spice, and leather. The taste is pumpkin, vanilla, chocolate, spice, dark fruit, and booze. It’s smooth, oily, and boozy. There’s a lot going on here. This is a very nice sipping beer.

Tap at cock and bull, sarasota. Black color, tanned head. Aroma has roasted notes, coffee and some fruity notes. Roasty taste, some coffee and some pumpkin.

This is a 2015 bottle. Dark beer with some mahogany hues when held against the light. Creamy beige head that shrank to a lasting ring. Bitter chocolate and dry spices in the nose. Very rich beer with dark, bitter chocolate, a bit of lactose, and a firm cinnamon, nutmeg, ginger spice that grows at it warms. Okay flavored stout.

This beer tastes near awful. The tasted in the glass were not at all complimentary. We gave it the rating we did to respect the pallet and the pumpkin that we tasted and smelled. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

DATE: October 13, 2016... OCCASION: nearly 300 miles of traveling today and in need of a dark one... GLASSWARE: Affligem chalice... pours a wickedly black, flat cola with a swiftly thinning brown head that leaves a random streak... when jostled, the glass does produces some bubbles.... first impressions are of intense nutmeg, pumpkin innards, thick malty roasted bread, musty vegetable, and odd spices like ginger, peanut, and sugars... in the throat, bursting with warmth... at the teeth, a tingle... enough carbonation to elicit response... BIG and robust at its finish... first flavors include vanilla, pumpkin, nutmeg, hazelnut, ginger, cereal grain, and green bean/asparagus... as time goes on, this beer picks up speed and strength, sipping like a red wine while sporting an earthy, grainy finish that makes for a worthwhile, powerful stout that nonetheless is one of the lesser Southern Tier offerings I have had...

22 ounce bottle. Thin beige head. Smell of pumpkins, has a butterscotch toasted buttery brown sugar taste. Smooth on the palate. Overall a wickedly wonderful brew!

On tap at Hopcat. Aroma is SPICE and chocolate with a hint of pumpkin. Pours pitch black with white lacing. Creamy mouthfeel with good balancing bitterness. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Pours dark brown with little carbonation. Smell is cinnamon over pumpkin. Finish is fairly strong but expected from a stout.

ebone1988 (1925) - Dearborn, Michigan, USA - OCT 4, 2016
Aroma is pumpkin spice, it smells like my candle in the living room. Bready, pumpkin pie, nutmeg, brown sugar, cinnamon, ginger. Appearance is dark brown, light brown head, poured thin. Taste is pumpkin pie, spices, ginger, cinnamon, nutmeg, cloying, booze, I don’t like this. Mouthfeel is medium body, light carbonation, pumpkin pie aftertaste. Overall, a big fat no on this.
