33 cl. bottle sampled @ Kulminator. BBF 22/10/2004 (2003 Vintage presumably). Dark brown with a tanned / beige head. Nose doesn’t betray the age, pretty sweet, some oxidation but less than I would expect, sugary, syrup, brown fruits, figs, prunes, light liquorish, solid shape. Taste is slightly watery, liquorish, brown sugar, prunes, figs, caramel, syrupy, oxidation is light, fudge, slightly warming. Body is touch watery. Solid, very good shape. Expected very little but this was not bad at all & has held up surprisingly well, not too shabby. Countbeer (6592) - Best of E-Town mit 2 Brauhausen, NETHERLANDS - OCT 25, 2011
Bottle: from some older notes I recently found:
Brown beer with a light brown head.
Smell and taste are sweet and caramel malty with a better and fuller taste than smell.
Also taste some darker fruits and spices.
Not bad.

Bottle at Kulminator.
Brown with a beige head, some lacings. Aroma moderate malty (caramel, dark fruits, smoke and licorice from cask?) and hoppy. Flavor moderate sweet and bitter. Light/medium body.

Bottle, 6.5%. BB 2004, 3 years ago. Very malty and slightly roasted aroma. Hazy dark brown colour. Small light brown head. The flavour is roasted and quite oxidized, probably better fresh. Portish, vinous and oxidized, not exactly my favourite flavours. Thinnish mouthfeel. joergen (28108) - Frederiksberg, DENMARK - AUG 3, 2007
Hazy orange coloured with a huge off white head.
Aroma of caramel, fruits and cookies with notes of berries and dried fruits.
Sweet flavour of fruits, berries, dried fruits and cookies. Grovlam (4247) - Copenhagen, DENMARK - AUG 2, 2007
Bottle. [Courtesy of Papsoe, another great tasting session] Huge thick beige head that mostly lasted. Moderated particles were in flow. Color was mahogany. Aroma was really quit lovely with a mix of pepper, roasted malt, Belgian yeast, prunes, date, liquorish, light sweet wine like and a underlying caramel feel as well. Full bodied with a lively carbonation and alcoholic texture. Moderated to almost heavy sweet. Maybe its only downfall was the slightly unbalanced sweet domination flavor. Overripe fruit like lingering finish. I thought this was quit lovely. 27-07-07 Ungstrup (37574) - Citizen of the universe, DENMARK - AUG 1, 2007
Bottled. A murky unclear brown beer with lots of sediment floating around under a lazing tan head. The aroma is sweet malty with notes of caramel, and so is the flavor, but in the flavor notes of alcohol and spices mixes in. Nice. Papsoe (25063) - Frederiksberg, DENMARK - JUL 29, 2007
(Bottle 33 cl) Pours a hazy, orangey brown with tiny impurities and a beige head. Sweet aroma of malt, alcohol, fruit and dried fruit - there are some touches of sweet wine here. Very full-bodied with plenty of caramel and fruit and a very warming alcohol. Subdued bitterness. This is almost Quadrupelish yummy indeed. 270707
