Bottled, from Biershop Bayern. Clear golden, rocky head. Mild floral hop aroma. Mid sweet with medium body and soft mouthfeel. Fruity with some bread and floral grassy hops. Long bitter drying finish. Quality helles with focus on the excellent local hops. Papsoe (25060) - Frederiksberg, DENMARK - OCT 11, 2005
(Bottle 50 cl) Untill April 2005 called "Spalter Vollbier-Hell". Pale golden with a small head. The locals really hype their Spalter hops, but in my experience they add more bitterness than aroma and aren’t really that refined. This lacks the normal round maltynes associated with the style and comes out more like a typical bitter German pils. 060602 harrisoni (18983) - Ashford, Kent, ENGLAND - MAY 9, 2016
Bottle at Cafe Wanderer Nuremberg. Clear gold lasting white head. Malty bready. Decent hops. Not fully attenuated. Some butter on aroma. Not sure it’s diacetyl . Good hops on the finish though. Bitter. Shame about the aroma. yngwie (17102) - Kristiansand, NORWAY - JUL 22, 2011
Bottle, from trade with Maria. It pours a clear, pale golden body and a nice, white head leaving lacings. The aroma has some fruityness, and a good dash of pale malts mash. It has a distinct flavor of cooked vegetables, along with a nice grassy and piney bitterness and some pale malts. Medium body, quite dry. A quite decent beer, tasteful, quenching and pleasant, but there’s a touch of dms I don’t appreciate. 110722 Theis (15152) - Frederiksberg, DENMARK - JAN 12, 2007
