A very delicious and hoppy pils. This is just brimming with that sweet, herbal, bitter, citrusy hoppy goodness.

Something about a nice pilsner in The Motherland when you are starting to crave an IPA. It falls short but is clean and sharp and has a bite. This poured golden with a clear body and a lovely white rocky fluffy head, about as pretty as they get. Aroma of cereal and faint grass. Flavor followed with no cloying aspects. Dry finish with a nice body and refreshing. This brewer is solid. I should have been rating all their beers I’ve been drinking the last year.

UPDATED: MAY 27, 2015 Flasche von Hopfen & Malz, Berlin. - Helles Goldgelb, klar. Antrunk schlank, feiner grasiger Hopfen. Ganz zarte Malzsüße im Hintergrund. Im Abgang sehr trocken. Sehr bitterer Nachtrunk. - Keine Hopfenbombe, aber ein sehr aromatisches, mit gutem Aromahopfen gehopftes Pils von ganz einzigartigem Geschmacksprofil. Unbedingt probieren!

Bottled from Biershop Bayern. Bright golden, rich head. Distinct floral grassy hops up front. Dry with light-medium body and crisp, rounded mouthfeel. Cereals and grass provide a firm foundation, distinct noble hops take over a bitter finish. Refreshing quality pilsener!

#244 Goldgelbes Pils mit reichlich feinporigem Schaum; schöne Blume. Leicht grasig-hopfiges Aroma.

Bottle. Pours clear golden with a white head. Aroma of straw and hay citrusy, herbal, grassy. Taste is light bitter, herbal, grassy, quite a lot of straw. Good

Bottled. A good example of a dryish franconian pils - light golden with a hint of the longed-for greenish tinge; prickly aroma; a decent whack of bitterness, both grassy and tinny. Very easy to drink
