malzmiller (11) - Twin Cities, Minnesota, USA - JUL 8, 2007
Considered a Helles, it is done in a kellerbier style; unfiltered and hazy. A very drinkable offering. Nothing stellar but very fresh nose. Low carbonation, a good session beer but for the elevated alohol content.

Gezapft beim internationalen Bierfest in Berlin. Trüb, orange-gelb. Süßes Aroma. Geschmack: Getreide, süß, Malz. Typisches Brauhaus Bier

Tap at Biermeile Berlin - super hazy dark golden color, white head. taste is malty, bit sweetish. high carbonation. not a real Helles, but still quite nice.

dunklermessias (330) - GERMANY - MAY 10, 2017
On tap at Brauhaus Spandau. Comes with a hazy, dark golden color and a small white head. The nose is malty, yeast, some citrus, some bread. Taste is rather sweet, like a Weissbier. Yeast and herbal aromas, hints of citrus. Like a cross-over of Pils and Weissbier.

0,4 l draught @ Brauhaus in Spandau, Spandau. Appearance is yellow, cloudy, OK head. Nope, this is not Dortmunder or Helles, more like Landbier/Kellerbier. - unfiltered lager. There is the sweet taste of the yeast, reminds me Hefeweizen. Quite nice, especially during a nice spring day.

gyllenbock (9841) - Stockholm, SWEDEN - AUG 8, 2016
At Internationales Berliner Bierfestival 2016. Hazy golden with a white head. Aroma and taste of malt, some bread, light fruit and hints of yeast. Me

Draft at the source. Hazy golden color, fluffy white head with thin white lacing. Aroma of light citrus. Taste is subtle citrus, raw bread. Light body. OK.

2.3
heavy (2904) - Split, CROATIA - JAN 25, 2016
Apr ’15. On tap at the brewpub, pouring an extremely hazy, a muddy pale yellow body with a medium sized head. Weak, herbal, lightly sour and muddy yeast aroma. Flavor was more of the same, but not so weak, very chalky, earthy with herbal notes. Thin in body and watery as well. Seemed like it was unfinished. Weird. Might rerate given the new opportunity.

Theydon_Bois (20607) - Hazlemere, the lower Xhitlerns, Buckinghamshire, ENGLAND - OCT 6, 2015
Keg at the brewpub, 20/07/15. Hazed golden orange with a decent off white cap of bubbles that retains well. Nose is pale malt, orange peel, bread dough, light mandarin notes. Taste comprises straw, citric notes, melon, orange, light bread. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close. Decent enough citric lead helles.

On tap @ the brewpub (old rating). Very unclear orange body with a big, fluffy, lacing off-white head. Aroma is fruity with lots of yeast and slightly sour. Flavor is sweet malt, fruity, some overripe vegetables, lots of yeast and low bitterness. Medium to thin body. Drinkable but not very impressive.

UPDATED: FEB 15, 2015 Hazy yellow colour, white head diminishes fast. Rather malty aroma. Taste is mild, slightly acidic. Full body.
