Beer is not retired. It has been brewed again as Special beer for the month of August 2017. On tap @ Spandau Brauhaus Deep brown body with a small, thick and persistent tan head. Chocolate and liquor aroma, some caramel note. Taste is malty sweet, berries and chocolate/caramel again. Some nuts. Dry sweet finish which turns to coffee in the end. Medium to full bodied, slightly creamy texture, carbonation is soft.

Draught @ BBF13. Pours cloudy brown with creamy and stable light tan head. Dark aroma of malt and caramel with notes of dried fruit. Sweet flavour of caramel malt with mild roasty notes. Mild, malty finish. OK.

culchiem (4098) - Berlin, GERMANY - AUG 12, 2012
Draught at the brewpub. Murky brown with a solid tan head. Aroma with sweetish malt. Flavour is chocolatly, earthy with a dry palate. Finish is not too sweet. Good stuff

MiP (15960) - Sønderborg, DENMARK - AUG 8, 2012
Draught at 16. Berliner Bierfestival. Sweet and sour, but refreshing aroma, seems a little off. Cloudy dark brown colour. Good stable light brown head. The flavour is a little sweet, roasted hint, a little liquorice. A little barnyard makes it rustic and interesting.

3.2
ganache (6031) - New Jersey, USA - AUG 6, 2012
Draught at the 16th BBF. Dark brown with a lacing tan head, tastes really chocolaty, smooth with a minimum of hops, not very sweet, light-medium body, yum!
