Draft, Zeke’s. Amber brown colour. The aroma is a mix of caramel and toast. Sweet but light body. Has some light caramel character. Lacks either the fullness or the earthiness of the best examples. djd07 (15264) - Houston, Texas, USA - JAN 19, 2012
Bottle as shown. Pours a dark brown with a small off white head. The aroma is a raisin malt and bread. Medium mouthfeel with a raisin malt and chocolate with metallic finish. Not much going on with this one. Ratman197 (15100) - Arvada, Colorado, USA - MAY 21, 2009

12 oz green bottle. Ditch the green, Spaten.
Pours a dark ruby brown with an off-white head and no lacing.
Skunked dunkel. This one is skunked but below it you get the amazing munich dark malts. It is fruity and carmally and wonderful. I’m docking it points though for the use of the green bottle.
Taste wise this is one of the less sweeter versions of the style though it sticks on your tongue a hit heavier than others. It is just an abundance of dark syrupy malt flavors that excite the palate but this one is one of the lesser Munich Dunkels.
Hofbrau dunkel also comes in the green bottle but I’ve always gotten it fresh, now that is how you do Dunkel, this one is sorta like, meh, but good.
