Oktoberfest is here. Amber-red color. A light malty aroma. Dry roasted malt character. Somewhat watery, a slight buttery aftertaste. Very refreshing.

Orange-copper color and lively carbonation. Lightly toasted malt aroma plus some grassy hops. Warm flavor. Has some elements in common with Spaten Premium Lager, except this beer has significantly fuller body and flavor. Santa Fe Ski Area serves this beer on the mountainside and it tastes particularly good during a ski break in the beautiful alpine environment of the southwestern United States.

UPDATED: NOV 12, 2003 Golden, small white head. Fresh smooth malty aroma with hints hints of bread and citrus. Very tasty with nice malty sweetness. Some breadiness with some notes of honey from the malt.

Poured a orange-brown color, little tan head, little lace. Tasted very much like the Paulaner Oktoberfest, in that it is an incredibly sweet and caramelly. A bit acidic, some floral hops that convey into the palate a dandelion flavor. Not bad for a style that is not one of my favorites.

SilkTork (5806) - Southampton, United Kingdom, Hampshire, ENGLAND - SEP 4, 2003
Bottle. Tasty lager with a bit more sweet malt than normal - gets a bit grainy toward the finish. This blond Oktoberfest is not as interesting as the dark Oktoberfest/Marzen style.

MaiBockAddict (1497) - Good Beer Bar Deprived, New Jersey, USA - SEP 4, 2003
UPDATED: SEP 5, 2003 Nice gooey malt. Reddish-munich malt hugh. Low hop. Fresh and well conditioned, the way it ought to be. Up there with the best of Germany and not yet dumbed down like many are becoming. Very drinkable, but a bit more to the chewey side. If you like O'fests, you'd be hard pressed to find anything wrong with this one.

Dark golden with nice white fluffy head. Malt, malt and again malt from the head to the bottom. Perfectly drinkable.

Clear amber appearance with a good sized head. Toasty, malt aroma. Fruity, malty taste with a tiny bit of sweetness. Smooth, creamy finish.

BückDich (5464) - McCall, Idaho, USA - AUG 31, 2003
beautiful copper/auburn color with great head. I love spaten's bottles because they fill a weizen glass with a 2 fingered head right to the top, pefect pour everytime. This one has a excellent malt profile in the aroma, you can just chew on the munich malts they're so apparent. Flavor is medium bodied but really easy to drink. A very clean fresh mouthfeel and overall a well made oktoberfest.

Oranngy tint with a thick foamy head.Has tastes of malt with a nice clean finish. Not too bitter.
