COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
This is the German version of the beer, described by Jackson in the 2000 Pocket Beer Book as "much paler (than Oktoberfest-Marzen in the US), golden, albeit still with a creamy aroma and pleasant malt accent."

Bottle, 0.50l, courtesy of my better half. Aroma of grass, stone fruit, yeast and dust. Clear pale golden color with medium creamy white head, nice lacing and sparkling appearance. Taste starts moderate sweet malty, following is grassy and honeyish, mouthfeel is smooth, while finish is medium bitter. Medium body, creamy texture and average carbonation in palate. Just an average reinheitsgebot brew...

not bad, but not great. typical Spaten with the extra hops, but not as much as USA crafties stuff into every bottle, thankfully. their hops add a nice contrast to the small amount of malt. good aroma and good taste.

Bottle at home bought online from Beautiful Beers, BSE. Pours very pale crystal clear straw colour, frothy white head. Aroma is light sweet, light malts, floral & hay. Taste is sweet bready malts, grassy, subtle citrus, low bitterness. Light bodied, frothy carbonation & sweet malty finish. Would crush this on a summers day, very emjoyable

Citrus pale gold. Thin head. Aroma intensity 3.75/5. Flowers and hay aroma, with notes of thyme. Light bitter on a bed of sweet. Quickly vanishing. Light body. Hyper-jump carbonation
